"Even though we had booked a table for 3 at 8 pm we were only a 2 and arrived soon after 7 pm. It was busy but they accommodated us quickly and I had the best spaghetti carbonara ever and the portions were not too over facing."

"Baker Street has many restaurants throughout the spectrum, with Tussauds nearby, the London Zoo not so far away, and hungry tourists nearby. Zizzi is middle class. It is great and friendly to fit with a large menu and an inventive menu of Italian and near-Italian dishes. Tables through the window keep less noise than those in the middle. My bufala caprese was imaginatively garnished with basil, and the mozzarella was abundant. The tomatoes came from the island of Wight. My companion was very taken with the huge olives, pits do not resist. She followed with a porcini dish and made it satisfying. My pasta had pulled into her venison, which was a first where I was concerned, and there was a lot of it. It is a relaxed place and a perfect place to watch the hustle and bustle of Paddington Street. The Montepulciano did not end the meal. Yeah, I was very happy with that."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Zizzi, staff were friendly, and the food and drink were delicious. We would happily return and recommend to others. My friend's risotto dish looked very tasty and she agreed it was delicious although one mussel did come out undercooked and the portion when compared to that of the pasta and pizza dishes was underwhelming so I would suggest larger portions on these dishes and more care to be taken when cooking sea food such as mussels. Also whilst waiting for a table we would have prefered to have been able to sit at the bar with a drink whilst waiting for our table instead of in the door but we were seated promptly so this is more of a suggestion than an issue."
