"My husband and I use to love to come here. But since covid. Every restaurant is using CHEAP FAKE materials. The Caesar salad had old pieces of dark shimmy lettuce. Which I think my husband and I got sick on. Both our stomachs where in pain when we left. The chicken scampinni was disgusting. Minus the chicken/ I don't eat meat) You can see right thru, the noodles. Like translucent. Tomatoes old. Everything was old. I didn't even eat it. The bread and garlic stuff was still good. To make things worst. Lord forgive me for saying this. But I'm pregnant. And the waitress was missing all her teeth and spit on my my lip and in mouth twice. I was sooooo grossed out. We will NEVER GO THERE AGIAIN. UGH!! !!!!!!!"

"I had a great experience at Johnny Carino's in Joplin Missouri. It was pricey, but I expected that. We ordered a peach Bellini and a Margarita on the rocks for drinks, and we got an awesome deal for them. While the promotion for their 2 drinks for $10 was technically over, the promo was still active in the computer... And our awesome server was kind enough to give us this discount when our check was totalled up. Much appreciated, as it saved us about $8 on our alcoholic beverages. Delicious, hot and crispy, garlicy fresh bread was brought to us while we waited for the rest of our meal to arrive, complete with olive oil with spices for optional dipping. We ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which came with 6 ravioli in an incredible cream sauce. The pasta for the ravioli was thick around the edges, the filling was disappointing because it seemed they were all half full. The filling itself tasted amazing, and it was a lovely dish. With a $19.99 pricetag, however, 6 half filled ravioli seemed like a bit of a joke. Portion size should match price, and this dish fell short in that regard. The taste was phenomenal, but the meal was so small that it left my partner hungry. So hungry, in fact, that the appetizer we declined at the start of the meal was actually something we ended up ordering after all, after the ravioli were gone. That appetizer was their Baked Stuffed Mushrooms. With a pricetag of $10.99, we got 6 stuffed mushrooms in a cream sauce. A beautiful dish, and more reasonable for the price when compared to the Lobster Ravioli. Also ordered was the Chicken and Shrimp pasta, I ordered mine with spicy marinara instead of the Romano cream sauce it originally would come prepared in. For the $18.99 pricetag that came with this dish, I was pleasantly surprised. This dish was full of pasta and chicken and shrimp, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. It was so generous a serving, I had to ask for a to go box for my meal. Again, adding to the disappointment in the lacking portion size of the Lobster Ravioli. Each meal came with a side salad, we both had the Caesar salad and it was perfect. The service was wonderful, our server was fantastic. The manager even made his way to our table and made sure we were enjoying ourselves, they really know how to treat their customers at this restaurant. I'd have given 5 stars for flavor and service alone, but for the sake of honesty... the ravioli just fell short. An adjustment in price or portion size would quickly solve this issue, and overall I loved my experience here. Definitely will return to explore more of their impressive menu."

"The food was good however the experience was not pleasant in that after 30 minutes I had to ask if my order was put in. It was not. I also had to ask for an item that should have been included. After speaking to the manager and explaining what occurred I said that my meal should have been comped as a result. He said “well I can comp it if you want”. At that point a negative review suited me better."

"I loved my visit here. The kitchen is open to the main dining room, so right when you enter the place smells amazing. I love the Italian nachos with sausage, and the bread they serve with every meal is to die for. I also really enjoyed the lasagna. Thetomato sauce tasted complex and delicious. The service wasn?t great, but I didn?t have any complaints either."

"They have good deals in the bar area and half price family meals on Monday. Sadly the food is lacking and the building is in desperate need of repair. The nachos are good from the appetizer menu. The pecan crusted chicken salad is good when theyactually remember to include all of the ingredients. The bowtie festival is the only pasta choice I?ve found to be halfwaydecent. At one point they had a steak special which led me to try that (which I normally would have never done at an Italianplace) and when they actually remembered the seasoned butter, that went on top, it was surprisingly delicious. I have triedalmost everything on the menu and this is all I have found that I like. It?s kinda surprising considering I?m not that picky andthey have a large menu. Oh and the tiramisu is delicious. I found the quality of most dishes comparable to Fazoli?s. However,the price reflects a high end restaurant, which it is far from."

"Our visits are always satisfying and the food is always excellent. The manager John Rovello and staff are always professional and make sure to check on you often. If you have not tried the steak and shrimp, we highly recommend it. The Sangria is also very good and refreshing. The bread and oil is the best!"

"Restaurant was pretty empty and quiet. It was a Monday evening. We were a big group so we had to wait about 15 mins to be seated. Our server was great, very attentive, checking on our table often. Food was delicious????. I ordered a small plate ofItalian nachos????, it was only 6.99, great price. Drink specials were 2 for $10, choice of Sangria???? or Margaritas????,plenty of beer options as well????????Would definitely dine here again????????"
