"Based on friends review. Four of us order wings and fries lunch. My pommes were good, but they look like the bottom of the bag, only small pieces and crumbs. The wings didn't look fresh yet. Thank God I had a ranch diving sauce. 2 of my friends said the same thing about their wings and fries. The other two other fish. Your complaint was how small the fish was compared before. I just have to stay at work with my lunch. It's too expensive not to enjoy it."

"Several issues1. Took them too long to answer the phone , I ordered a large pizza half pepperoni with 10 wings2. One of the cooks wasn’t wearing gloves and I watched him make several sandwich’s in between customers3. I asked them not to burn my pizza and this is what I got4. I pulled up one slice and the cook with no gloves said it isn’t burnt and that’s the way they cook it5. I flipped all of them over to show him the bottom is burnt and he said if I didn’t want it then I don’t have to touch the rest of them as if he was going to sell the rest to someone else6. He asked ME to put it in the trash !!7. I asked if they could make another one since I paid for it with my card already and waited another ten minutes8. When I asked if they were going to make the pizza after waiting another ten minutes the girl at the counter said she didn’t know and had to ask !!!9. She came back and said he will make the pizza after he finishes praying10. I asked for my money back and suddenly they are cashing out and after 10 minutes of them trying yo figure out why homegirls drawer is short $113 they gave me the refund “supposedly “ of $22 for the pizza minus the wings that are now sitting in my car getting cold.11. AFTER ASKING ME TO PUT THE PIZZA IN THE TRASH AFTER FLIPPING IT OVER , THEY ASKED FOR IT BACK !!!!!12. Paid $15 for 10 small pieces of wings and then one had the nerve to yell have a nice day while I was leaving as if I wasn’t gonna post this .The proof is right here ! Never going back !"

"That was my second time at Portsmouth Publick House. My first experience was fantastic simply a 4.5-star experience. Food was better than expected and service was great. We have a beer, Margarita Sampler-Ding, Schwein Nachos and a BBQ pizza. The drinks were great, Nachos were amazing (Riesenportion, which they all shake on a pizza and bake, the pizza is huge (16” and really good. This second time, however, was less than stellar probably 3.5 stars. My wife and I thought the car museum on the street was a fundraiser and thought we would bite ourselves quickly as we enjoyed it for the first time. Unfortunately, the nachos were burned this second time and the service was somewhat slow. The fried pimples and Asian dumplings were great. One thing I did not love (personal preference was that they did not serve Coke products (only Pepsi). As a DC addict, that was a disappointment. Our server was friendly and accommodating but has not looked very often. I'm sure I'll be back, but maybe a little picker with the timing and order."
