"Is one of our favourite restaurants for a romantic meal in Inverness. The food is gooood- especially loved the Gin cured salmon starter and Medallion Steak (it just melts in your mouth Although tbh everything we tried was excellent. Staff were all super friendly,...especially the charismatic owners Karen and Norman. Great ambience absolutely loved it!"

"We celebrated my wife's birthday at Bar Reyna. It was our first time, and we will return! We started with a couple of their creative cocktails and moved right to appetizers. We shared several different choices from the tapas menu and were never disappointed. Nice...atmosphere for special occasion as well as just an evening out."

"My Partner and I went out for drinks in Swindon Old Town the other Saturday night and wound up in The Royal Oak. The Beer Cider range was good and the Gin selection excellent. It was very busy no seating available but...the bar staff were brilliant, working amazingly hard to ensure that us thirsty drinkers weren't kept waiting all with big smiles and friendly demeanours. The other patrons were equally friendly and chatty, this could be because we were all of a more mature age! Whilst we didn't eat here, we did check out the menu and we plan on coming back for dinner."

"The food was a kind of gland and it lacked any sensible season. The steak I got was not medium rare but barely cooked, and even after returning was rare and the quality was not indicative for the $58 price. The meat was hard and tasteless. The mashed potatoes contained too much cream and gave no taste in addition to the strong milk consistency The dessert was underwhelming and unoriginal. I also found the lack of green salad choices a little strange. I was often in Paris and was never in any restaurant without a salad. Gabarinos owned by the same person below is a solid 4-star Italian restaurant that has never disappointed. I will not return to Twisted Frenchman...Paris 66 Bistro is much better for authentic French cuisine. For the $200 we spent, I would have got a much better meal at Altius, Hyde Park or Capital Grill."

"Beautiful ambience, lovely music. The starters were lovely. Steak was cooked well. However, not a big fan of the steak sauce or how the fusion Chinese styled stir fried long beans felt against the steak. Also felt that the steak shouldn't have been resting on the sweet potato mash as well as it spoilt the flavour of the steak."
