"We order an appetizer that was great, it came with tomato, mozzarella, olive oil and basil. Them the best pasta in Cartagena and a pizza for main dish. For 2 pastas and 1 pizza and 3 sodas I paid around $31 USD. The waiting time to get a table is totally worthy. Really great place and food"

"I really enjoyed my experience at Semolina, a cozy, upscale Italian eatery nestled on an upper floor in the Bocagrande Mall, close to the Hyatt Regency hotel. While it obviously divulges from traditional Colombian cuisine, I recommend this place to all travelers and deem it...five stars. Atmosphere was sleek, clean, and classy. It resembles a true, authentic Italian restaurant. A bar is on site, although COVID rules prohibited its use back in December when I dined. Service was bright, attentive, and hospitable. All the staff spoke enough English to understand my requests, and they consistently wore smiles under their masks. Food was delicious, wholesome, and unbeatable compared to similar fare in the city. No complaints. Thanks for hosting me in Cartagena, and I’m thrilled to plan a return very soon!"

"We loved this restaurant. As soon as you come in they want to know what country(ies) you are from so they can put a welcoming flag on your table. There was live music that everybody enjoyed; it was a four-person band that you could always...hear but was never so loud that it prevented you from having a conversation. The food cooked on the grill was delicious. I got grilled chicken and steak (mixto); a friend got the largest steak I have ever seen, with a giant piece of sausage on top like a garnish. The sausage alone could have been a meal, but it was dwarfed by the steak. I wish I had a picture of it (I don 't remember the name) but my phone battery management was not very good by this point in the vacation. The staff is very attentive and considerate, and they were even kind enough to give our leftovers to some hungry Venezuelan refugees at our request. These refugee families are seen at various places throughout Cartagena, and their humanitarian plight should be humbling to those of us who are more fortunate. Best of all, they had America 's pastime showing on two large-screen TVs. We arrived at the bottom of the 8th inning of game 7 of the World Series, which is just about as much baseball as I need to see all year (though I understand it would have been a bit more exciting had we arrived at the top of the 7th). I highly recommend this restaurant. Our party found it when we got tired of walking in circles while looking for some other restaurant, and we 're glad we did!"

"A fantastic restaurant, myself and friends had a simply wonderful meal here one night during our trip through Colombia. The chef came out personally to go through each and every item on the menu and the two women with him couldn't have been better server's,...always with a smile. He was Parisian and cared so much for his customers and put so much care and attention into the food. Big variety in the menu too from pasta and lasagna, to chicken dishes and a host of seafood options. Lovely decor and ambiance with very reasonable prices. Most of all, the food was delicious. A superb dining experience."
