"TL;DR: Put it on your list of Palm Springs must-visit restaurants. While we didn't have a reservation and tables were booked through the evening, we enjoyed dining at the bar. Ambiance was great, and the September evening temps were managed well enough with misters and fans. Good lighting and fun, unobtrusive music. The cocktail options were diverse and interesting. The Ultimo is most recommended. The Caesar salad was good, but maybe didn't have the wow factor of other parts of our dining experience. We enjoyed the current charity-partnership pizza, with honey, burrata and zucchini. It added just enough substance to the light and crispy crust without it feeling heavy. That balance really matters in 110-degree dining. The bartenders were super busy, but still the perfect balance of attentive and personable. Service that still feels personalized in a restaurant that is insanely busy is quite an achievement. We also noticed that vibe among the staff was positive, supporting, and a team environment. This was our first visit to Palm Springs and the only restaurant I guarantee we'll visit next time is Birba."

"This is our 2nd time here. They are located in the back of the building. You can access their order window from the back alley or the sidewalk between two buildings.Gabino's has taken crepes to another level. Instead of a dessert crepe, they make a savory crepe. Absolutely delicious!!!No seating inside...but there are tables and chairs outside.We plan on eating here every time we come to Palm Springs."

"My kids wanted pizza and pasta, so I started looking at nearby restaurants in Palm Springs. We have a lot of Italian friends and know what authentic Italian food tastes like. This is what we were seeking. I read various Yelp reviews for a number of places, and L’Olivo had consistently positive reviews. It was handy I could make a reservation using Open Table. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The restaurant is airy, and the tables are not too close together. The staff is mostly Italian. My daughter devoured the bread and got more! The house sparkling wine was reasonably priced and tasty. My girls ordered their pizza and pasta (gnocchi in pesto), and we adults had the pollo calabrese and lobster ravioli with minestrone and Caesar salad to start. Every bite was delicious. The service was outstanding—attentive without hovering. We ordered the tiramisù for dessert. It was scrumptious. When we received the check, we also got a small plate with a biscotti for each of us. It was by far the best biscotti I’ve ever had: flavourful and not too dry/hard. I highly recommend L’Olivo."
