"This is a hidden gem that I'm torn to tell others about but also want to support the amazing family! If you're staying in Pushkar, you'll need to rent a motorbike to get here - its about a 20 minute ride outside of town, once you reach the village you just look for signs for "Shiva cafe." Fresh is an understatement here - once you order your dish, they will literally pick the vegetables and herbs out of the garden to serve you. The food is insanely delicious and organic. The family is amazing and you'll even see their little son popping around planting seeds. Also, its not on the menu but the owner will happily serve you a Cerveza! You're very close to the Aloo Baba here too, so you can buy some potatoes to bring to him as an offering to the Shiva temple!"

"The food here is great and the ambience is just fantastic. Located at Varaha ghat this restaurant on the third floor gives you a fantastic view of the lake as well as the town... The negative review below is surprising as I had great service (around the same days)and did not ever feel like I was fleeced or cheated in any manner. Maybe he was just there on a bad day...."

"It's not often you get good pizza in India. I was recommended this place by someone in my hostel so tried it out and had a cracking 14inch, thin crust pizza for Rs220. Bargain!!"

"Very nice location, incredibly friendly host, and delicious food! I worried that their central location would turn it into a tourist-trap, but I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The portions were big, but not a trace was left on the plate! I enjoyed a breakfast platter and mint tea, but was happy to see that they also had an espresso machine. The host was very friendly and cheerful."

"On this caffe and enjoyed the view of the lake a d sunset with musical entertainment of local Tumbla players. eating was good as the service. be careful with the 'special leti' we had luck another couple told us what it was. if they. come here at 4 for the best sunset sitting"

"We chanced upon this place completely by accident while walking through the bazaar one morning & it turned out to be a delightful find. The owner was justifiably proud of his home made dishes & very generously offered us little tastings of his homemade granola (very good) etc.We ordered some of the middle eastern dips & they were very good. Have to mention his falafels which were amongst the best we have eaten anywhere outside of the middle east!The mint & lemon drink he recommended was just perfect for a hot morning!"

"This is definitely the healthiest and freshest food in Pushkar. You can tell how they take special care of food in every detail. Also the owner and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. After trying it for the first time we decided to come every morning to have the delicious “exotic lychee aloe Vera tea”, the porridge of heaven and the toasts with butter and rose jam. For lunch ask for the green pasta salad and the veggie bolognese pasta"
