"Amazing food. I mean WAY above average, super delicious FRESH authentic Italian style grub. Outstanding. The antipasto is a surprising and delicious blend of meat, cheese, artichoke hearts and roasted garlic gloves, bathed in a tasty, yet light Italian vinaigrette. Amazing. Excellent craft beer and attentive, friendly service. Love this place."

"First time in Spokane the Ruby Hotel gave us coupons to the Sapphire Lounge we weren’t sure about the quality but we went anyway. We were floored by how cute and fun the sapphire lounge was and the bartender/waiter was the best part! He was working all alone and had a bunch of customers but was friendly and wonderful to everyone! He also helped us pick amazing places to go on our road trip! We had an amazing night thank you to the bartender in Spokane with his heart still in Missoula!"

"First time visiting here, and I probably won’t be back. If you’re a queer person, you are unsafe in their bathrooms. I was hate crimed by a non customer in the bathrooms. I spoke to one of the workers of the brewery, a taller blonde younger woman, and she was great. She told me they can’t do anything about it because it’s a shared space. The woman who hate crimed me came into the brewery to continue her bigoted behavior when my group flipped her off. Another brewery employee short, blonde woman)basically told us to stop or we would have to leave blaming us for what was going on.I did love their dark lager and overall set up of the place. I would give the dark lager and the first employee five stars. The second worker and the homophobia, zero stars. I go to breweries to feel safe; breweries seem to be the safest places for people like me even in Eastern WA/rural areas. I’ll stay in Seattle area. : ? Would love for the owners to change the bathroom set up."

"Tried the “big dill” pickle sandwich. Thought it would be better than it actually was. Was also more expensive on the pickle than it was on bread. Nice that it’s healthy and unique but overall just okay. Would probably try some more of the sandwiches the next time around."

"Osprey has a beautiful patio overlooking the river, and the Ruby River Hotel is a lovely place to stay. Nice menu at the hotel. I ordered a favourite I'd had in the past, the tomatoes with burrata appetizer, with red pesto. Grilled bread, pesto, and burrata were great, but this time the dish was served with unripe green tomatoes. Not a green tomato variety that was ripe, but crisp, unripened tomatoes. During a season when all manner of tomatoes are in season and ripe. I asked the server about them as after trying one I was dissatisfied. She came back to inform me the kitchen only had green and yellow tomatoes. During harvest time? How strange. So my favourite dish was disappointing overall. A fail on those green tomatoes you got delivered and had to use. In a dish where the tomatoes are one of the starring ingredients, don't do that."
