"Went in for the first time after hearing good reviews. Great selection of food in there I got a range of foods from the deli counter and the shelves which were all high quality and tasty. However, the experience wasn’t enjoyable. The man (presumably owner) wasn’t particularly welcoming and he started shouting at his young worker right in front of everyone. It just made me feel sorry for the poor kid and I wanted to be out the shop as soon as possible. There’s no excuse for acting like that in front of customers. Friendly, welcoming service goes a long way with me, and unfortunately my only experience with this place has put me off. Lovely prosciutto, but bad customer service doesn’t make up for that."

"Beautiful environment with wonderful staff and a beautiful eating. <br br/> we were created from the front of the house, which was smiling and very friendly. it is always nice to be greeted with a smile. <br br/> we were then shown to our table where our waiter offered us water and brot. he was super friendly and chatty neigt also needed to our everyone. really great service. <br br/> there is warm brot given that I really like. <br br/> we ordered: <br/> the stone bass <br/>Halibut <br/>Cauliflower Steak-side <br/>Find bean side <br/>Spring green side <br br/> I had the stone bass and it was perfectly boiled. I came with early onions and a red pfeffer hummus. really flock fish, very tasty. <br/>The healed came with a pesto such as spaghetti.<br/>The netts were enjoyed! <br br/> the pages were somewhat small and honestly, this is my only criticism. they all tasted great. the flower cauliflower cake with a Parmesan crumb, the fine beans came with a light butter and greens were embroidered in a creamy sauce with boner seeds. but they could and should have been bigger! <br br/> a fabulous meal will be definitiw. <br br br/>9/10"

"I have never had a bad meal here, the food is always piping hot and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous without being over bearing. I went last night after an incredibly busy and stressful week at work and it was the perfect place to relax, not too noisy but full of chattering people having a lovely meal. It is always my go to place in Harpenden for lunch or dinner. Keep up the great work"

"Dropped in on impulse to give it a try. Unassuming decor, decent service and I would guess family run. Went with pasta dishes purporting to be homemade and we weren't disappointed. Starters and desserts were pretty good too. I'd say the pick were the pasta/meatballs...and the creme brulee. Prices were a little high but no doubt affected by brexit and covid. Would return and try the pizza next time as that looked as good as the pasta dishes."
