"This yoshinoya serves the same food as others, but the interior deco is very like muji, which is very comforting. The serving is seems much less than other branches, which is rather disappointing. The restroom is the highlight of this restaurant where they use smart toilet, and provide sanitary stuff. The hygiene needs to be improved. I sat right after the staff wiped the table yet it is sticky and you can see food traces still....would prefer the healthy menu it used to have."

"I went to Beitou with my cousins and we were looking for a veg*n restaurant near the XingBeiTou station. The other vegan restaurant was closed for summer holidays, and I was so relieved when we stumbled in this place! The location is modest, and the staff speak little to no English, but they were very friendly and helpful and prepared incredibly delicious food. My non-veg cousins were super impressed by the imitation hong shao rou ʿ ‡‡ and the pesto-like noodle dish was also super delicious."

"My another approach to Western cuisine in Taiwan and another failure. Relax, it wasn't very spectacular failure, but it confirms my supposition that finding a really remarkable eatery serving American or European dishes in Asia is like finding a golden grail. Let's start with the positives. The place is relatively nicely decorated, and the burger I ordered tasted not bad, and by Asian standards I would say even very good. Traditionally, I can't get over how it is possible that with the change of price status from inexpensive to moderate the friendly service turns into snippy, serious, without a hint of a smile. Did I fill with my moderate rated burger? Of course not. However, I was more stung by the note in the menu that every person sitting at the table must order something from the card. Dear Ooh Cha Cha several years of traveling around the world and you were able to surprise me with something new you probably just didn't want to with something like that..."

"Good vegetables and a nice little bakery. Products are marked when they contain milk. Unfortunately they do not have them on the menu, but I love absolutely the frozen dumplings that you can buy there for taking!"

"Nice place with a wide menu. We tried the Thai prawn salad which I found didn’t have any Thai flavouring. The steak was lovely, not sure about the spaghetti pairing. Would have been much nicer with mashed potato. Also a thicker gravy as it was like a broth. Tenderloin was my highlight. Very thinly shaved cabbage underneath complimented it well. Ratatouille had a great flavour but wasn’t like any ratatouille I had ever had! Fruit drinks were a bit crazily priced at $160 for a mineral water."
