"I haven't eaten here in a while so I decided to try it again for my once a week dine out experience. I got the garlic shrimp over pasta and a large Falafel wrap/gyro, for the sides I got the white bean soup and also a salad. Everything was really good and super fresh (I was hungry so I forgot to take a picture of the gyro and bean soup). My order was ready in about 15 minutes. They were really courteous on the phone and in person. They also take the RAD card so if you have one use it here. I'll definitely be mixing it up more and going back here again soon."

"North Shore Grinds definitely delivers North Shore portions! This is a hefty plate lunch place. In other words... it's not for the weak! After reading all the good reviews on the furikake opakapaka, I decided on that. I called my order in and it was ready in 20 min. They're located in a residential area in Kaimuki off of Waialae Ave and 10th Street. Parking is hard to find, as the residents seem to take up all the street parking. I ended up parking illegally in front of a fire hydrant. Don't tell on me!This is a total hole-in-the-wall that you could easily pass by without noticing it. Sometimes these are the best places, sometimes not. As mentioned, I ordered the furikake opakapaka and it came with 3 pieces, a heap of rice and mac salad. There was sauce on the bottom of the fish and I was glad that they didn't drizzle it all over the fish because that would've been too much! The fish itself was good but I wish it wasn't fried. I thought the furikake would be sprinkled on top of the fish. I was not expecting it to be fried. Not my cup of tea. The mac salad was good, though.Service was pretty non-existent. The girl at the cashier didn't even say hello or thank you. She bordered on unfriendly. They have a few tables inside if you choose to eat there. I'd return again just to try the pulehu rubs. For me, that'll determine if this place is legit and maybe I'll increase the rating. For now, I'll leave this review with 3 stars."

"I am not one to write a bad review or complain, i have even had soda spilled on me by mistake and still gave a great review but the rubbed me the wrong way. If you are under 35 years old do not go here, they will act like they do not want you there. There was five of us and they could not wait for us to leave. The food was good but they messed up a few times. My friend got a chicken parmesan which is his favorite meal and we all tried it because he said it tasted like it was"

"We stayed in Seward in the winter, and ended up visiting Christo's during our stay. At first glance it was a nice place, but with a little time it became evident that there was not much attention paid to the decor. However, the atmosphere was still pleasant The menu is overly large, and could do with some trimming; the prices are a tad high, but considering Seward is a tourist town most of the year that's understandable. The food was good, but not particularly spectacular; we took our leftovers, but don't want to learn the recipes Service was good, but a little slow at first."

"The food, the vibe, the decor, the staff…I love it all! My husband has tried a few things off their menu and loved each one. I, being a creature of habit, stick to their turkey sandwich and when I tell you I have dreams about it…man. It’s the best! I recently took one of our kids there and she had some pizza bread, which she loved! When she decided she didn’t like a drink she had decided to try, I ordered her something else and the cashier refused to let me pay for the replacement. She also chatted with our daughter, helping her decide what she might like. It’s small acts of kindness like that that keep people coming back."
