"I have been to restaurants in many parts of the world and in Canada but never go in search good service and food. The waitress finished finished the evening by serving us coffee without spoons and never has this happened in my 25 years working in the tourism industry. Usually when mussels are served the first thing is that bread and butter has to be on the table but until we requested nothing was given. Tasteless food. Looked like the waitress was impressed by the big tip any way. I guess people pay for the view and not foe the food or service. Need to add that the bottle of wine tasted like vinegar."

"Aug 1 My wife found this gem from a magazine article. Truly a great experience in a neighborhood called Mt Pleasant, SE of downtown Vancouver -- about 20 minutes away by car.Seating can be a problem in a busy resto. I don't like facing a wall. The host was very kind to reconfigure a center table to accommodate my request. I faced the entertaining open kitchen.For a change, we ordered from only the daily specials. We had the tajine, a duck ragu with very slender pasta -- so yummy. We also ordered the main, a pork loin with intensely flavored gravy with bok choy. We're glad we ordered the roasted potato with beef hash that was a perfect accompaniment. This resto just opened not even 2 years ago but so,so popular in a non-descript neighborhood. Parking was not a problem.This resto offered our best meal in Vancouver at a reasonable tariff. Go!"

"Chick fil A never disappoints. Quality food and quality people, EVERY TIME. No other restaurant I can think of that’s as consistent as Chic fil A. Got my usual healthy number seven, with a crispy spicy chicken instead of the grilled one. The food is always neatly prepared, and all the workers are always happy to assist you at this location."

"The meat pizza toppings all have an odd taste to them. The pizza crust is average. It 's fun to get creative with pizza toppings, but you really have to advocate for anything additional--ie: ask questions about all the different toppings there are, because nothing is labeled. Unless you know the options they have you 'll miss out. For example they have a pesto glaze, fig, and a number of others that really add a delicious layer. There are a bunch of employees working... so many people behind the counter, it 's kind of hectic. The only people I 've really seen be efficient are the shift supervisors. It 's like the younger employees haven 't been trained very well, and come across like they are uncertain about what to do. The restaurant is decorated nicely, but its loud with employees shouting names, talking, etc. We decided to eat at home, because of this. I would say this pizza/MOD is average across the board."
