"During our visit to Blenheim we were directed to the Water Terrace cafe as the group wanted a hot meal. On arrival the restaurant did not look too busy and we able to find a table. We realised it was a buffet cafe- which was not a problem, until we were standing there for over 30 minutes waiting to be served our meal. It turned out they had no hot food from the menu available. The queue had a come to a stand still! No member of staff explained what the problem was or how long we would need to wait. No management front of house. All left to one young member of staff who appeared to be overwhelmed. It was chaos! The situation could have been made better if a staff member in charge actually took charge, and worked out a better procedure in light of these situations to placate people, and inform them of the situation and reassure that everything is under control. After 3 members of the group finally got something to eat I did not) they told me it was definitely not worth the wait. Mediocre. Probably the same quality half price in Wetherspoons. No discount or vouchers offered. No apology for poor service. Considering where we were. It was a long way from good service and grandeur."

"Beautiful small Italian restaurant with a beautiful menu with food for every taste. had some great specials on when we also went, the staff were friendly and attentive and made them welcome. highly recommended. also has some outside seats, which would be nice, but the weather was not quite good enough for us! I hope back!"
