"We had the smoked trout beignets, which tasted okay, notspectacular. Then we had the tartare. I’m usually a fan of tartarebut this time it didn’t do it for me and it just tasted weird. Then we had the charred carrots which was actually reallygood! Enjoyed that. Then we had the Atlantic halibut and theskatewing. Skatewing was very soft and chewy but tastesa bit bland. The halibut was alright. For dessert we hadthe paris-brest pistachio and the ile flottante. The flottantetasted great. But i think the highlight was the paris-brest—absolutely wonderful. Crunchy and creamy. Also, we struggled a bit with selecting food from the menu; nothing really stood out from the menu."

"Amazing restaurant. Everything was delicious. The cote de beouf (for two) was cooked perfectly, and actually has a dry-aged scent unlike some other places that have dry-aged cuts. Plus, the two bone marrows it comes out with are a really nice bonus. The lobster risotto was fluffy and filled with lobster flavor. Minetta burger was definitely one of the best burgers around. One of the priciest, but definitely worth it. The only downside was the filet au poivre, which was cooked beautifully but was too peppery (despite au poivre being a pepper sauce, it was still overpowering). The chocolate souffle was perfect. Crispy top, fully bottom and the rich bitter dark chocolate was perfect for after a heavy steak meal. Definitely recommend this place. Though it's less of a french restaurant and more of a high-class steakhouse, it's definitely my new go-to for steak."

"I went here with a colleague because it was the only place in the area she knew of. Everything was fine except the toast on my sandwich, which was burnt but I'm sure better value can be had for the money."
