"Great place right from Gatlinburg! We stopped after we had spent a busy, rich day in Gatlinburg. The restaurant was quiet and the service was excellent. Food was very good, especially the hamburger (the bungalow was very good, which is usually not the case in many cafés). Perfect place to stop for a good meal outside the city!"

"We went in and ordered takeout for a quick dinner. Fried chicken was very good- got a breast and leg combo. Side salad was not great, seemed like basic store bought lettuce. Mac and cheese was good. Staff were friendly. The iced tea was good. Mashedpotatoes with gravy were good. Grilled chicken was good. The biscuits were slightly dry- definitely recommend Cracker Barrelbiscuits more. The wait for the order was not very long and there were other people there so service is speedy."

"Overall 1 star employer making YOU do the MOST for minimum and your employer doing the bare minimum and caring less. Employer uses her emotions too much and lets it control her actions and not caring it does. Literally yelled at an employee in the lobby infront of customers over the tea."

"We were in gatlinburg for an early break. we walked the strip and hungry. I wanted a little quick. I stepped into the chicken stable and wanted to get wings. I asked what was really good and unique. I was told I was supposed to get the chicken phillie. she described it, but I didn't really think it sounded like what I was looking for. we talked and I decided to get it recommended. it was far beyond what I expected. that he had a lot of taste and there was enough cheese to make me happy. it was unique. it was tasteful and it made for a fabulous lunch. I liked it so much that I went for another one the next day. sometimes you really need to trust what they recommend. I would never have ordered it."
