"Punjabi nukkad is a simple restaurant located in middle of HSR and Sarjapur. A tiny place, not at all fancy, serving amazing North Indian food. My hunt for few North Indian dishes definitely stops here. I had to meet few friends, so we decided to have a simple homemade food instead of going for a fancy or posh place. We landed here, the decor is simple, every table is given a name of cities from Punjab, quite unique isn't it. We loved the starters like Malai Mushroom, Baby corn manchurian, Stuffed Aloo barva and Punjabi Paneer Satay. Each and every starter was perfect, amazing taste and the quantity was just perfect. For main course, we had a quiet few things like Dal Makhani, Pindi Chole, Kaju Shahi Korma and Punjabi Kadi. Again every dish was outstanding but Dal Makhani reminded me of what I ate when I was In Punjab for trip. It stands out of all the dishes. Pindi Chole was another dish I have been craving for since I ate here. Typical Delhi style and I keep ordering it for Home Delivery (Thakd God Zomato delivers to my location). Now coming to my favourite part Desserts. We had everyones favourite Gulab Jamun, I must say the best one can have in Bangalore, so soft it almost melts in your mouth. And of course, how can I forget Lassi and Chass, a perfect drink to end your dinner, again typical Punjabi style and great in taste. Guys, if you really want to try some good North Indian meal I would strongly recommend Punjabi Nukkad and am sure you will not be disappointed. "You just cannot miss this place when in Bangalore! So far the best Paratha and Chicken Starter ever had! And not forgetting the amazing lassi it has. Didn’t know there was such a selection of parathas in one place. I played safe and got the Aloo Onion Paratha and Chicken Keema Onion Paratha cooked with butter. Aloo Onion Paratha Soft and easy to tear the Paratha with a perfect stuffing of some yummy potato onion masala and served with some yummy curd. Loved the chaat masala sprinkled on the paratha and the combo of Potato Onion stuffing. I 'd go back for this one time and time again. Note If you want to play an enemy role in someone 's life who want to be fit, just say 'Aloo onion paratha ' It works. Chicken Keema Onion Partha It 's cooked in Butter. I crave for some spicy Paratha and among spicy parathas, I love Keema Parathas. They are self sufficient, you don 't need anything else with these, just a little pickle and curd by the side enough. Mixture of juicy minced chicken Indian Spices that will take your taste buds on a different level altogether Malai Chicken Tikka It is a mouthwatering juicy grilled chicken recipe, with chicken pieces marinated in chilies, garlic, lemon, spices. and cream. It is one of the best snacks to nibble while you enjoy their masala chaas or Lassi! "Eating is not quite iyer', but it is hot, fresh and consistently good. the food is served on a banana leaf and consists of rice, two sweet, sambhar, rasam, curd, rice, pickel and pappadam. all for rs. 65! chapathi, vada/bajji and payasam are available against price. while the amount of rice is fixed (there is an option of half rice), they serve the rest on request. they rotate the sweet day to day so that people who eat there every day have something new to look forward to. the sambhar is excellent, it is probably my favorite thing there, but some can find it a little sharp. the sam is fundamental. every Wednesday they serve majjige huli instead of sambhar and young it is good! I have seen how the mosses end their whole part rice with only majjige huli. the payasam (paruppu or dal payasam at the locations that I asked) is another brilliant article that they use. the server is fast and efficient. the restaurant itself is a little overcrowded 3 rooms with chairs and tables with only elbow rooms for mozen. but it is not a place where they spend time and enjoy a cozy meal. it is a place where they can quickly eat a healthy, hygienic and tasty meal. highly recommended!"

"Being a big punjabi cuisine fan, I have been to different punjabi restaurants and different Oye Amritsar outlets. So I choose this outlet for a family dinner. I was quite disappointed about the quality of taste and the speed of service when compared to its other outlets. But overall I enjoyed the food. I loved their Aloo kulcha and Chicken."

"Iconic is the best word I can use for this restaurant. vintage ambiente. comfort is the service. divine taste for all foods. excellent service. this is metropole for you. a charming restaurant began in 1960s, which is like a beautiful kerala kitchen with South Indian food as a speciality. I tried ordinary dose for dinner and egg-dosa for breakfast.......it was soo buttery. and crisp. to have her was inflating what a beauty I recommend this place completely, because it is simply on her pocket and amazing on her heart."

"Lil late review, but still fresh in my mind. I had visited this place for the first time having too much expectations. Ambience is pretty good Hospitality level of staff is respectful. This is the only reason I'd given 2 star, coz when it came to food, it's was really bad for the money you pay. Hated it. I ordered 1) Mutton bone soup mutton wasn't fresh, flavour was fine. 2) Chicken sholay kebab for the price point I had better expectations. Felt kebab had been frozen for some time. 3) And for mains, Nellore mutton biriyani absolutely disaster. I have a low regards for this biriyani after eating here. Flavour was 0, mutton I wish i can say anything on it but i had 2 piece bones Outta 3 piece and whatever was available was dry. I did visit on weekday evenings around 8pm, I guess main chef wasn't there or they might be serving food from noon or yesterday, but this doesn't given anyone any excuse to serve bad food on the table when you pay full. I would not recommend this place. First impressions is bad. Health is important."

"I have ordered Chef's Veg thali from eat.fit. This restaurant as everyone heard makes healthy diet for you. For my order, i have received 3rotis along with paneer curry and rajma. Two of them are awesome, tasted like quit non-veg and eat only veg. Along with that, i have also received dry fruit sweet and veg salad, pickle. After eating it, i haven't felt like it's too heavy.
