"This place is the real deal for fries... Really like the lite spray of vinegar they put on them. Coming from the States most of say no vinegar... Don't say no. Want another treat? Get the gravy too. Have to say their hot dogs were very good too."

"My first visit to brownstones was not a good one. My main compliant was with the kids menu. The place seems fun and all of the adult apps and entrees we ordered were just okay. However, My 5 year old son ordered a fun colour changing drink and pogo sticks and I had some major issues. The colour changing drink is gross. I don't think they've tasted what they are serving. I get the concept but maybe instead of club soda, use sprite or something. Also, it was just orange. The whole time. No change. Perhaps have 2 colours of cubes. Like yellow and blue. Anyways, it was a waste of money and undrinkable. Then, the pogo sticks were cold. Like, not reheated, straight out of the fridge cold. It was a bit concerning. I know it's trashy food for a kid and I'm ordering it, but I expect what's served to be cooked. Not going back."

"Visited for the first time and broke rule number one. I didn't bring a beer on my inaugural visit. I'll bring two on my guaranteed follow up visit. Didn't ask what rule 2 was. It is a small space and full of meat. So you better not be claustrophobic. Especially if visiting during lunch hour. The smell of pepperettes and various cured sausages hanging in the open immediately makes your mouth water upon entering. I had to buy one and the hot farmer's sausage caught my eye (made with real farmers they joked).I couldn't decide so they recommended the assorted. I ordered the large of course. 12 different meats piled so high I had to unhinge my jaw to get it one bite. The toppings simple: butter, mayo, cheese, lettuce and mustard (hot banana peppers also available). This place is meant for meat lovers. I think I'm in love."

"I got just a plain ol burger and fries the portion size was great ! The burger was perfect sized for my hands to eat ! Plus you get a great amount of fries just this simple burger and fries and I'm completely happy and full !"
