"I would go to Mensch's all the time if I could afford it. The deli classics here are very good and there are some really unique things they do with the food. Smoked salmon is amazing, for example. So is the babka. It is expensive, though. That's the only drawback. Oh, and if they could just Toronto style bagels!!"

"We were excited try this diner because the menu caters to many different dietary needs. Upon arrival we noticed the floors looked like they had never been washed and there were cobwebs in the corners. We ordered a few different menu items. The vegan poutine had zero flavour, thank goodness there was salt on the table. The mac and cheese was no better. Our drink took 10 minutes to get..it was a diet coke. I won't return to the this diner, once was enough for me, plus parking was a challenge here at dinner time."

"Saw other reviews about their breakfast sandwiches and thought I'd try them out. Ordered the Island Breakfast sandwich, which was 2 scrambled eggs with parmesan cheese on a croissant, which seemed pretty basic (about 7.95 Canadian). Seemed like it took a long time to get it, but then when it was ready it seemed like they had just baked the croissant for my order. It was a light and flaky as any I had in France, and the eggs were perfectly prepared. Basic never tasted so good! It was very filling, and a great way to start the morning before walking around the Public Market. They are known for their burgers, but breakfast was so good I might have to go back to try them for lunch."
