"We have been to this restaurant before and it was great then and is still great, I absolutely love their ceaser salad, they make it at your table and the dressing is the best I have ever tasted, the service was perfect, our waiter was extremely attentive , we were not rushed at all, our table was booked for 7 and we were sat down straight away and we did not leave until nearly 10, it is a little pricey but so worth it for a special occasion."

"Quite simply this is a typical American/Canadian bar and that’s about it. Big TVs, the standard selection of beer (nothing more adventurous), cheerful service and OK food. Best thing is the portions aren’t huge so nothing is wasted (good to see when so much...food is wasted these days). Fries were excellent though the ribs were disappointing not that meaty and the sauce felt like it had been rationed because most of the half rack had nothing on them. Sweet chilli wings were good though small. All in all not bad, though not especially great either."

"Had an early dinner with my wife. Service was correct and attentive. My wife had the chicken Oscar with salad, and I had the veal Oscar with the onion soup and a glass of the house red wine.Wine was nice and paired well with my meal. My wife found the salad ordinary, though there was plenty of it. Her baked potato was fine, but her chicken was only ok. My veal was excellent, but my French fries were not to my taste.My meal was also unbalanced: a huge amount of fries, a bit too much asparagus, far too much green beans , but one very small slice of carrots and a small slice of bell pepper. Vegetables were well prepared but too much of some and not enough of the other.It has been several years since we last ate here, but we used to dine there quite often and almost always had excellent meals, so maybe I just chose poorly this time.At some point, we mentioned it was our anniversary and they surprised us with a delicious slice of cake on the house.It's not cheap, but it is good value for a white table restaurant these days."

"We visit Pluckers regularly for favourite seafood with our daughter and son in law. Recommended meals include fish tacos, salmon with salad and shrimp jambalaya. The atmosphere is casual with music playing or sports on tv. The bar offers a variety of beer, wine and cocktails. Service is friendly and the food is always well presented."

"If it's good enough for Ryan Gosling, it's good enough for me. I ordered the Banquet burger (back bacon and cheese) with fresh cut fries and it was all cooked to perfection exactly what I needed and had hoped for from a classic side of the road diner. If you are out and about in Burlington and have a hankering for a juicy burger, make sure you check out Charcoal Pit delicious and satisfying. A+"

"Tried it and scored a coupon for my first visit through Maps. Great fish portions, ready very quick. Happy staff atmosphere. Checked out the negative reviews and they're all from over a year ago. Great turnaround from those lows. Union Jack is my new go to and a far better replacement for what I used to order at Caz's. Keep it up folks, great product."
