"We always judge a pizza place by their Pepperoni Pizza. Plain simple if you can nail a pepperoni pizza, you've mastered 50 of your sales. These guys absolutely nailed it. My wife I made the trip for the milkshakes friends of ours said we had to try it, so we did. And if you like ice cream, you'll love the craziness Terry's has to offer. We went with the standard milkshakes, but got to see some of the Crazy Shakes come out of the kitchen and they have a photo wall of them, so you can see what you're getting into. Cautionary remark: portions are generous! We each had a small, and both agreed a kids size might have been a good idea. We got an Italian sandwich, and the gal at the register suggested I try it with the pizza sauce. I did, and I have to say, it was amazing. The spices from the pizza sauce, coupled with the pickles and melted cheese made a wonderful combination. Little spicy, but absolutely on point. My wife asked for an order of fries for the trip home, and they are not fried in oil, so they are really crispy and flavorful. When we got home, we tasted the pepperoni pizza, and it wins. We'll make the trip again, and I encourage my friends to do the same well worth the hike, and if you're feeling adventurous, try the crazy shakes!"

"My husband and I went here for an anniversary dinner, and it was such a nice experience! We got a seat outdoors with a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains! It wasn't a crowded outdoor area, rather, it was a quiet and serene seat to enjoy dinner for two. We loved that other customers brought their dogs to the outdoor area, where they were allowed and welcome. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. I was easily able to swap grilled chicken on a burger instead of beef, and it was just as delicious! We shared an adult milkshake for dessert, which was also amazingly delicious. Overall, we loved the atmosphere, the staff were friendly, the food. came out timely and was delicious, and the view was amazing."

"First I say, I love roasted spam. But the Spambiscuit I had was totally disgusting. The spam looked like he was freshly cut from the foliage and maybe got naked because it was hot, but it wasn't boiled. I bought two and threw the second in the garbage."

"Quite about my recent experience. My friend Sandwich was exactly what he wanted, what is great! However, my sandwich lacked the vegetables I asked to be added, and I also became tomatoes on my sub, which I do not like, at all, unfortunately, and was not something I had asked. I had only one onion on both sides of my lower part and the bread was incredibly soggy for some reason. We usually love to come to Firehouse, but this time was quite a bummer for me."

"My wife and I used County Smoak to cater our wedding, and by far the best BBQ in the Lynchburg area at a reasonable cost. The most comments about our wedding was how good the food was, and honestly we had to agree. County Smoak was very quick to respond to us when we acquired for catering. We got the brisket, pulled pork and picked three sides: Mac n Cheese, Collard greens, and the baked beans with brisket in it! They also provided 6 different sauces and all 6 were delicious! Anytime we visit the area County Smoak will be a for sure stop!"

"We ate at fifth and federal today, and I couldn't be happier. The only downside that I found the whole time we were here was one song in particular that played that was a little bit vulgar for my taste. I don't blame the restaurant for that, it was just luck of the draw. for food I ordered the 801 club, which is oven roasted turkey and ham lettuce tomato and bacon and Duke's mayonnaise on grilled bread. The pickles that came with it or fantastic and taste like they're homemade. I also ordered the barbecue beans as my side, and I couldn't have been happier with that. For drinks we tried the Bedford bird dog, which was absolutely out of this world. During lunch, I enjoyed a basil Hayden's rye.overall, I would highly recommend fifth and federal. The only time I would probably avoid it as if I had my children with me."
