"If you want the best of European cheeses this deli is the only place you should ever buy. The in-house cider infused camembert (or is it brie?) is to die for. Not only to they have a large variety of absolutely excellent specialty cheeses, but the staff, and particularly Ian, the owner, are so knowledgeable. They also have fabulous cold meats, pates and a huge selection of crackers, cookies, teas, condiments, olives and the most wonderful bread rolls that they bake daily. There's a little seating area at the front where, at lunch time they serve wonderful sandwiches at a very reasonable price. I've lived most of my life in London, England and Vancouver and there's no deli that can match it for service, knowledge and variety of specialty foods."

"My wife and two children had dinner here and were really disappointed. After reading some great reviews about the decor and menu options we were expecting a fun and interesting experience. Instead, while the kids liked the decor and the service ok at best the food was simply horrible. We both ordered the fish and chips but what we got instead was a deep fried lump of what tasted like slimy, previously frozen, indecipherable white fish. And my Fanny Bay oysters tasted similarly. As did the highly recommended deep fried mac and cheese! Basically everything tasted the same! If I were a rep from Fanny Bay I would be upset at the way in which this Place butchered some of the best oysters in the world. Will not return and will not recommend. Pass on this Place and find somewhere else to spend your money because these guys just don't seem to care."
