"I have gone to Socrates several times since moving to St. Albert. The food can be really good and then at other times it is just OK. I have brought friends and family here as well as clients. The service is completely inconsistent. And the servers can be moody, grouchy, slow and make you feel like they'd really rather be doing anything else. Disappointing as the prices are high and there are limited choices in St. Albert."

"We were at the Southwest Farmer's Market on a Wednesday night and enjoyed the chickenShawarma wrap with fries. There was plenty of yummy food for the two of us. We will go back for their sandwich next time. Be prepared to wait about 5 minutes and to eat standing up as there are no tables."

"Great burgers. The best in St. Albert . Nice and home made taste. Good friendly service. However, they are very inconsistent on serving fries. Sometimes the cook gives a good size and then,the next time you visit, they cheap out and give a small portion.It is a rip off when they do this ! That is my only complaint about this joint."

"The cactus cuts are to die for , as well as all other menu items we’ve tried . The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel very comfortable eating there . You can tell the owners put a lot of work into making the restaurant a top notch experience for everyone !! Highly recommend as the food , atmosphere and service are all 10/10!!"
