"I don't write reviews very often lately, but I had to make an exception for this experience. We stopped here on the way to Greenville, SC. I wish I had received the name of the employee who served us, because not only did she know everything about the menu and all the answers to our questions, she was so friendly, patient and honest to us that they left a sign on us! The sandwiches she had made were on top. From now on we will make it a priority to stop and take a bite when you visit extended family!"

"Had dinner tonight after Hey Coach the restaurant had obviously been very busy prior to us coming in. But, that did not affect our service or dinner. Our server Momo was exceptional! She was very attentive and engaged in conversation when asked. She stayed on top of things yet didn 't hover. The food was outstanding even though the night was no longer young. Everything was cooked perfect. From the hostess to the cooks to the server, we really enjoyed our night.Running into Dont 'a Hightower after our meal was an added plus ??"

"The staff and hostess were very welcoming and accommodating to our party tonight. There were 13 people in our group and when we arrived they did not hesitate to make arrangements for us on such short notice. We were originally scheduled to eat at Olive Garden but upon our arrival we were told we’d have to share the party room with 2 other parties. Then, after waiting for nearly an hour, we were told we could not be seated in the party room at all. Our waitress Dana was beyond excellent! She was engaged with our party the entire night. She made sure we had no issues and received everything we needed, always keeping a smile on her face. She gave us stellar service. She was the epitome of what a waitress should be. Excellent service tonight!"

"BBQ pork is typical Alabama port pulled pork great on tenderness, flavor, smoke profile everything. The brisket though... Let's just say that I should have skipped it when I asked for slices of the flat (leaner cut) instead of the point... I was met with a blank stare And was told they cut their brisket very lean so there's no fat. It was flavorless the texture was that of roast beef not a proper smoked brisket. To be honest it really wasn't even good roast beef. Drowning the slices in a sweet sauce did not help. What allowed me to choke it down was the chow chow. Stick to pork, you'll be fine that's the only reason they got four stars from me."
