"We visited this restaurant at last night. We weren’t told about food unavailability until we’d already ordered and had our drinks delivered to our table. When we did order food we were then told that there was no cod or lamb. We had our...starters which were lovely then were told after about fifteen minutes later that the sea bass we’d ordered was unavailable. When our food arrived it was tasty but one person was given carbonara instead of crab linguine and another ordered a side of kale and was given spinach. By this point of the evening we were past complaining so just ate our meal and left. We were given a discount by the manager but feel disappointed that our meals were spoilt. Our server Charlie did everything he could to make our evening pleasurable. A large chain of restaurants like carluccios should have its kitchen sorted especially at peak time. We tried to eat here two weeks ago but were told the kitchen was closing early due to staff shortage."
