"The flatwhite tasted FLAT, no sugar despite asking while ordering. and my friends hot chocolate and mocha tasted blend too. it tasted like water was mixed with milk-thin n totally diluted. hope after other reviews and mine the cafe makes amends because we pay full price."

"What an amazing and vibrant place! Nice tables and cutlery, friendly staff, and very comfortable chairs. Love that the music was not too loud and our group could engage in conversation a proper catch up! We decided to have the Jeeb menu and I must say I did consider un buttoning my trousers at the end of the meal. We were served 6 courses, but each course had a few elements. We started with some snacks comprising of potato balls, chickpea something, and rolled fish (I really apologize for the description but there is no way I can remember everything now . Then the starters were a mix of hummus (of note, I had heard this was the best hummus on Earth, but that is not something I agree with , labneh, bread, fried cauliflower (this was just outstanding and 2 other dips. The entrée was a beautiful piece of pan fried fish on a bed of spinach and potato foam really delicious, maybe the best dish of the night. The mains were a mix of octopus (beautiful flavour, but slightly rubbery , steak (gorgeous temperature and scrumptious jus , roasted pumpkin with parmesan sauce (just yum! and salad (think it was butter lettuce and hints of cardamom . The first dessert was flambeed (I think pineapple with ice cream, followed by a rich mini chocolate cake with ice cream poached pear with coconut ice cream and a crispy sweet hollow element on top. And now I wish I had written down what the staff said when they described the dishes... I highly recommend Gemmayze Street and will defo go back!"

"We enjoyed a Wednesday dinner at Tasca in Mr Eden on a very wet and windy night. We discovered the wonderful seating area at he rear but felt indoors was the best option due to the weather. We enjoyed the lamb signature and flatbread dishes.. The food was tasty and delicious. We will be back to enjoy the delicious food and the outside seating area, perfect for a Summer evening ! The only feedback is ... I'm not sure that the menu on Zomato is the latest?"

"After a red-eye flight from Perth, my wife and I were hanging out for breakfast and good coffee, and the Altar Cafe fit the bill very well. They offer $10 light breakfast specials which are very good value, plus larger offerings for the more peckish. The cabinet food is all made in house, and looked super tempting! Great coffee hit the caffeine spot square in the eyes, and we left ready to carry on our busy day ahead. Helpful and friendly service, great value for money food, and satisfying coffees 4.5/5"

"I very rarely every eat poached eggs. Having this dish (The Royale I believe), I couldn’t have imagined anything better to top it off than poached eggs. I asked for the hollandaise on the side, which was a lot as you can see and it was subtle, unlike most hollandaise sauces which I find to be too much. The combo of the mushrooms, pesto and the pide was on point!! My mum enjoyed the granola, but was too big for her to finish. She would recommend adding a bit more yoghurt to even out the sweetness of the granola.<br/ Their homemade crumpet with the honey comb butter and salted caramel is a nice dish if you’re looking a decent sized dish that still fills you up given you’re not feeling extremely hungry. <br/ <br/ Never disappointed by the coffee here, anything from a mocha to a cappuccino, latte or short black. Very friendly staff too"
