"Their food is delicious, and they don't cook their vegetables with meat, which is a win-win for me. I love their potato salad, greens, cabbage and string beans. My relatives love the fried fish, but I go for the garlic chicken. Through Uber Eats, I was able to get a serving of the chopped barbecue and it was yummy."

"I've always wanted to try this place since it opened just haven't had the time until today, unfortunately I should've listened to the bad reviews. When I first entered I said hello and was not greeted but there was a friendly man on his way out that did say hello. I ordered the BBQ chicken, collard greens, yams, and a fish sandwich, the food wasn't very hot it was lukewarm. The chicken's was very dry like it was heated up and served, the greens I could definitely tell they were from out of the can 100%, and the yams weren't too bad. The fish on the fish sandwich did still have the tail and scales on it and wasn't seasoned at all. I really wish that my experience was better but unfortunately I will not be back."

"This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I went in person not acknowledged, servers in their own conversation, I walked out. I gave them another chance by ordering food to deliver ,after waiting for an hour I called to see the status of my order, was put on hold for 20 min. With no one coming back to the phone and was hung up on, called back to be hung up each time! Will never frequent this establishment again, don't care how good their food my be!!"

"Was on a mini store with my husband and looking for “Fritten Chicken” near me on Google and Betty’s was my choice!!! YUMMY so glad I did it!! So much for the money and everything was great. The Hubby wasn't hungry, but everything was eaten! Lol. My fried chicken livers and crowned greens were perfect. Thanks for the great hospitality!"

"The food here is excellent. They have so many great options but my favorites are the beef roll, leek and pork pan fried dumplings, Dan Dan noodle and the spicy pork ear. I also love that they're open till 1:00 am."

"I come here everytime I'm in New Orleans. I came across this place by chance and I'll never let it go. It's a boil house, that will sell you fresh seafood, but they also have plenty of it on the menu. They have meat pies, crawfish pies, different types of boudin, thirteen different types of po boys, all sorts of boiled seafood, and all the sides that go along with typical seafood boils like turkey necks, turkey wings, pigs feet, mushrooms, hardboiled eggs, along with garlic, potatoes, corn, and sausage. They even do a limited run of Chinese food so you can have shrimp fried rice or lo mein with your general tso chicken. Want a bottle of tequila or bourbon with your meal? They have that too. RC Cola? Big peach? They have it too. This is where the locals are at, they know what they have and if there is a line stay in it, get your order in, hold onto your ticket and don't miss your number when they call it. I'll keep coming here especially if I'm around on a Sunday, in front under the bridge there is always something going on."
