"We recently visited EastzEast in Blackburn as part of a couples night out, prior to seeing Kevin Bridges. Incredible timing, excellent atmosphere and a great time had by all, but I will detail all that further in my Kevin Bridges review. This restaurant however was simply awful… a perfect demonstration of service failing. Upon arrival there was no welcome or greeting. Thankfully our friends were already sat in the bar area so we went straight to join them. What followed from there was a succession of wait times that one would expect at Alton Towers, coupled with service that bordered on pure neglect. We had to ask to be seated, some 15 minutes after our booking time. We had to walk our server through the process of taking an order. We had to make our own assumptions regarding the availability of items. In the end we had to resort to taking our mains to go as there simply wasn’t enough time. We had thought 2 hours would be ample time to feed 6 people. The food was ok, certainly not on par with other eastzeast locations. Poor service, average food and a lack of training were apparent. Kevin Bridges however… superb"

"Just had a curry from Shad House, our first visit. Can't believe we haven't been before. The food was excellent,the service and friendly staff couldn't be better. Having friends round Monday for a curry so will definitely be ordering from here. Well done Shad House."
