"Es ist nicht ganz einfach, im Zentrum von Bonn ein Lokal zu finden, wo man informell etwas trinken kann und wo man gleichzeitig eine Zigarette rauchen kann. Das Le Copain in der Thomas-Mann-Strasse - also ganz nahe an der Fußgängerzone und am Stadthaus - ist so ein Ort, wo man als Raucher noch willkommen ist. Zutritt ist erst ab 18 Jahre erlaubt, man kann also z,B. seinen heranwachsenden Sohn nicht mitnehmen. Dies würde sich ohnehin nicht empfehlen, da in diesem Restaurant - mam könnte es auch Szenerestaurant nennen - Männer lieber unter sich bleiben und Frauenbesuch eher selten ist. In dem kleinen Restaurant steht man und genießt ein Bier. Nur einige wenige Tische gibt es noch. Die gängigen Biersorten stehen zur Auswahl: Kölsch (Kurfürsten), und Pils (Jever) kommen vom Faß. Weizen (Schöfferhofer) und Alt (Schlösser) kann man in der Flasche kaufen. Natürlich gibt es auch ergänzend eine kleine Auswahl an Branntweinen und alkoholfreien Getränken. Viel Auswahl besteht nicht, weil die Lagermöglichkeiten im kleinen Restaurant sehr begrenzt sind. Aber das Angebot reicht, um entspannt eine Zigarettenpause mit einem erfrischenden Bier zu verschönern.Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist angenehm. Es ist hell und freundlich und gar nicht so das, was man sich allgemeinhin als Raucherlokal vorstellt. Der Wirt ist nett und umgänglich. Er kennt seine Gäste und raucht gerne eine Zigarette mit. ."
