"Not to be confused with the Schlossgarten Cafe in the Martinsviertel, schlossgarten is the open air cafe actually in the Schloss. It's a delightful place to sit, although they have cut the trees back recently (visited July so not as much shade as there...used to be. The Rhababerschorle is delicious, the cakes and small lunch specials (e.g. Bulgursalat) normally also pretty good. Prices very reasonable. The only drawback is the service. It can take a while to get attention and for drinks to come, even when it is not so busy. One gets the impression that the servers are somewhat untrained students. So, my advice is be patient, relax, enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. But still, it would be nice if service were quicker! If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate your vote."

"Der Garten ist lauschig, man sitzt dort schön. Das ist absolut alles an Gutem, was man über diesen Ort sagen kann. Beim Kommen wurden wir von den beiden Kellnern weder beachtet noch begrüßt. bis wir auch nur eine Karte bekamen, dauerte es eine viertel Stunde. Auf die Frage, ob (bei einem Italiener, Anfang Juni) das Gemüse frisch sei, bekam ich ein entrüstetes "Nein, Tiefkühlkost natürlich!" zur Antwort. Die paar Blätter Salat mit der Fertigsoße, die ich sattdessen bekam, hätte keine Dönerbude serviert. Die Bratkartoffeln waren genauso wenig frisch, dafür pappig und lauwarm. Reklamationen wurden mit Oberlehrer-attitude abgeschmettert. Unerklärlich, wie anderen Gästen das gefallen haben kann. Die Muffigkeit und Unfreundlichkeit des älteren Kellners hätte so im Ostblock-Rümänien oder -Bulgarien Anstoss erregt. NIE, NIE WIEDER!!!!!!!! - Einen Nachtisch nahmen wir stattdessen im Eisslaon an der Modaubrücke, wo wir FREUNDLICH UND LÄCHELND bedient wurden und wo man weiß, was der Begriff `Gastronomie` bedeutet....."
