"I visited this cozy locale with a Spanish friend and she allowed as how it was pretty durn good. The house red (at 3.90/glass in 11/16) was a wonderful Tempranillo. We combined that with the jamon (good but not spectacular), the aubergine and cheese (cunningly paired with grilled...pear and beautifully presented), the aoli (which was out of this world), the grilled peppers (terrific),the shrimp with tomatoes (good but not repeatable), and the sardines on toast (ditto). The menus are in German and Spanish; the service is good and we had a lovely evening, spending about 20 Euro each and coming away satisfied."

"Our family went there for a celebratory occasion. We spent a fair amount of money. At the end of our dinner the sommelier offered to sell me a bottle of grappa, which he told us was 60 years old. He said it was a small batch production from his home region in Italy. I was a little incredulous, but he gave us a taste and admittedly it was very good. The price was 90 euros, but I bought it, in part as a gesture of goodwill and respect for him and for the product from his home region. When I got home I googled the bottle and it is aged one year, and widely available for 30 euros. What he did was nothing short of a scam and a rip off. He thought we were dumb tourists and he could take advantage of us. I won't go back."
