"Went there in a group of 8 friends; 6 had never been there before. Becca was our server and I think she is one of the best servers in the City. The food and service was all top notch. The fish is exceptionally fresh and perfectly prepared. We shared a whole bunch of small plates before hand and it just reminded us of sitting around a table with friends in a home. I’ve just always liked Poros. Here is my one thing that I feel folks should know; Poros is great, but it’s pricey. The fish goes for $6 $8 per oz. So, a small filet of Sea Bass is going to cost you $36. There are a number of great sides available, but one scallop will cost you $7; it’s a Mediterranean restaurant so you might want to add a lamb chop on the side of your fish. ONE lamb chop will cost you $18. Here’s the deal; it’s a beautiful spot; the servers are great; the food is delicious... but, you need to plan to spend much more for all of it, than you probably would at another restaurant of similar quality. That said, I am a fan of Poros and, to me, it’s worth it."
