"Although we are not fluent in French, we were made to feel so comfortable on our first evenings meal at the Café Dr la Radio that we returned for meals on the next two evenings. Lovely Fondues,etc and a very friendly staff."

"We had a delightful dinner with fine service and ambiance. Their specialty is is coquelet (a small individual size chicken) that is cooked perfectly on a rotisserie and served with frite. This is the kind of simple but delicious fare we were craving on a...cool evening. The other dishes also get top marks, but if I go again (which I will if I am again in Geneva) I doubt if I will be able to resist ordering the chicken."

"We walk in with a reservation to a muted welcome from a waitress in a tracksuit. The restaurant is not full the whole time we are there, making us think perhaps a reservation was not required after all. The appetiser is extremely salty and heavy handed with sesame oil. The foie gras is the best experience of the night. The ravioli dish had some surprising touches. The main is smothered in a very unappetitising brown sauce. Although dessert is included in our banquet, we're charged extra for cafe gourmand. The wine is very good. Tables are spacious, and I liked the candles and chandeliers. We have tried to get to this restaurant a couple of times before albeit unsuccessfully, and this satisfies our curiosity. Don't think the Michelin guide got this one right though."

"I was introduced to this place by a friend, as we were thinking of an Italian restaurant in central Geneva near the train station, and I had walked past San Marino before without noticing.Full range of regular Italian specialities and stone oven pizzas, and a very decent "menu du jour" at around 22 SFr., which is good/standard for the area.I had a salmon pizza for 17 SFr., which I knew was a reasonable price ... and then it arrived and I saw that the price was very good for such a huge serving. I couldn't finish it, and was able to takeaway for later enjoyment :)Pleasant decor, friendly staff, and I can't think of any negative points. Recommended."

"The food and service was very French; the restaurant was very quiet with some bankers and couples. We tried some a la carte choices including the fois gras, roast winter vegetables, pork, veal, cheese and soufflé. The fois gras was excellent as was the soufflé. The service was flawless (I’m sure it isn’t easy for the wait staff)! A lovely evening."
