"Loved coming across Yarra Valley Dairy! Awesome shop, naturally loved the fresh cheeses. Seating area wonderful but not extensive. Had to wait for a table to free up. Ordered tea and the farmhouse cheese platter. The plate of biscuits and bread delivered was huge. Impressive."

"The food here is delicious and well-presented. Service was excellent. The ambience is a little dated but old school Italian. We had a 3 course meal each and were stuffed. The food was rich and hearty. A nice place to come and have a leisurely lunch over wine."

"I really love this place the service is always fantastic the food is amazing and I love the wines my only criticism is that on each occasion I have been there for a bite and drink the music is so loud I have to yell to talk to other people. I understand people have functions but on the one day a 40th and a hens with live music all in the one area which needs to be closed off so other people can still come and enjoy a drink. I only wish they were open on Saturday nights also!"

"Came for dinner with my family, service was really friendly and the interior of the restaurant is very nice. The meals were really pleasant, all of the elements were really well cooked, tasty.. and full of flavour. To start we shared the antipasto patter which came with a variety of deli meats, chorizo, salmon and oysters with pita, cheeses and pickled vegetables... I ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly and came with a nice assortment of vegetables. Really nice little restaurant hiding in the suburbs."

"Wedding 5th March, 2016! Wow! We have just held out wedding at the farm cafe on the 5th of March and it was simply the most magical and amazing experience enhanced by the professionalism and friendliness of the farm cafe. Throughout planning Vanessa our contact was always available, friendly and very hospitable to our questions and requests. We had an event that has a ceremony under the huge beautiful oak tree, nibbles and drinks in the paddock and a fantastic reception in the barn. On the day Rox and I just enjoyed our day with no stress or issues and our request for decorations, food and drink were met with no fuss and perfectly to our instructions! Roxanne my wife and I highly recommend having your wedding at the Farm Cafe and the Collingwood Children's Farm...."

"We went to Young’s for my mum’s birthday on. Saturday night. We had a booking and were seated quickly.<br/ It was too hard to choose from the menu so we all decided to have the $65 Feed Me Regale.<br/ The food was exceptionally good the chefs obviously know what they are doing however, I was disappointed that were not served a “LARGE” menu item as a part of the Feed Me Regale offer. The wait staff said that there will be one but when we were given 2 sides and then served the Octopus as the main to go with it to finish the meal, that was disappointing.<br/ Patrons should note that the Regale does not include dessert either.<br/ It would have been fine if we weren’t anticipating a main but when it wasn’t served, that was disappointing.<br/"

Pause then Banana Fritters with ice cream and a 'simply divine ' tangy orange sauce mmmm mmmm! A warm welcome and friendly service."
