"Ordered the 8oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole and a glass of their house pinot noir. The house wine was very drinkable, dry and with enough tannins to make it interesting but without being overpowering like a cabernet. It also tasted very fresh--one of the worries with ordering wine by the glass is that maybe they opened the bottle a few days ago, and you aren't getting a wine at its best. I was very happy with it. The steak was a great cut of meat with no large chunks of fat or gristle. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out perfectly cooked. It was well seasoned and tender. Usually order filet mignon, because so many places have terrible sirloin. But this was perfect, and I'd order it again. The sides were hot and tasty. Our server was friendly, with a great smile and just the right amount of chattiness. She was attentive without being annoying, and we didn't want for anything for the entire meal (drink refills, etc). It's a rare skill to be able to serve well without feeling like an intrusion, and she pulled it off perfectly."
