"I recently had the pleasure of experiencing some of the tastiest desserts that I’ve ever had at Millie Desserts, a hidden gem of a bake shop tucked away around a block from the TIFF lightbox.This minimalist bakeshop has mastered the art of simplicity, offering an interesting blend of Japanese and French inspired flavours of Mille Feuille Crepe Cakes. I ordered 3 slices: Original (Vanilla), Matcha, and Earl Grey.Each slice was carefully crafted, and feeling the alternating layers of bouncy crepe and fluffy cream in each bite made the texture just as addicting as the flavours.My favourite was the Earl Grey – the tea flavour was potent, and balanced perfectly with the milkiness of the cream. It was a London Fog in cake form.If you’re looking for an authentic and modern Japanese dessert experience, you need to drop by Millie Desserts – I know will again soon."
