"After chaning its concept this place is very modern with an extremely loud music. Nothing near to what one would expect for an afternoon tea. I think they should take this option out of their menu. The waiters were very nice and attentive, they even moved us to the hotel lobby when we asked (the music in the restaurant was so loud that you can't have a conversation at all). This is probably a good restaurant, can't comment on that part, but absolutely not suitable for an afternoon tea."

"Great restaurant and staff! I’m vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat so perfect choice for our different dietary requirements. The restaurant also had a partnership with an organisation that funds breakfast for kids with struggling parents. A mere 30p is added to the bill. Fantastic idea!"

"In the honor oak park, the contemporary Indian restaurant babur celebrates its 30th birthday with a series of exciting menus. the second of their "string of Pearls" menus shows seafood dishes from the Indian Ocean Islands, with the cooking of mauritius, Maldives and the Seychelles. it's only until 30th juni, so they have to be fast! I was in the right direction of selina periampillai, aka supperclub host and pop-up cook taste mauritius, working with chef jiwan lal and his expert team to create the special dishes. brockley local jo the sis came for the ride with. they have four appetizers and four main things to do their way through, plus eight individually tuned weep even if they want to make one night of them. a freky tiger (or babur) sketch appears beside spicy oriented. we survived, even though we said jiwan, that we are making ourselves easy. starters are always the most pleasant bit, aren't they? we drove through all four: maldivian mas huni flaked smoked thunfish and fresh cocossalate, with roshi flatbread and mango mauritian garlic and coriander grilled garnel served with a carrot, gurken and mango salat salat creole seychellois octopus salat all come with barely £8, so go for everyone! you could stop there because the portions are quite generous, but then you would miss all this: dhon riha ‘Fair Curry’, steamed rice maldivian speciality thun with pandan and curry leaves, tamarinde, kokosnuss, fennel you have to be rolled out of babur if you take one of them on your own side. the fish vindaye has made it for us not entirely with forgotten king fish and all the wobbles, although the bizarre pairing of chili garlic baguette was most welcome! Finally, the seychelles creole fish curry with pan roasted seabrassen was an absolute winner. the ingenious, even-licked rice will stay with them on the trip to home. the main thing is around the £16 brand, which is fair for quality, but especially before the trips that lift after pairing of everything with wein. the service was friendly and informative by all staff, although we were the only ones in the restaurant early on Wednesday for lunch, so special treatment is given! I think it's getting pretty busy in the evenings, but I'm sure jiwan and co are the task. drive before the 30th juni to babur to taste the selina jiwan’s string of pearls indian islands ocean menu honor oak park is just 11 minutes from the london bridge. you can!"

"On arrival we were told that their wifi didn't work so we would have to pay by cash. On learning that I did not have enough they directed me to a cashpoint close by. There were probably only about 6 tables occupied out of the numerous available. We just ordered one course a fillet steak each. Mine was so tough and full of sinew making it impossible to cut and eat. It also lacked flavour. I was not going to complain as I felt the restaurant was clearly struggling but the waitress came up and caught me trying to hack my way through it and offered to get me a new one. The replacement was tender and delicious. Maybe they need to find a new meat supplier as a restaurant that holds itself out as a steakhouse needs to always serve top quality steaks? Sadly I do not see this restaurant lasting as all the others in Upper Street were buzzing! On a positive note the service was good!"
