"I was skeptical about getting souvlaki from this little restaurant in a very old and ugly strip mall. But I soon realized that my reticence was unfounded. The souvlaki was delicious, made with soft and moist greek pitas that appear to have been fried ...last time I had pita like that was in Greece! Perhaps not enough tzatziki for my taste though, so I will ask for a bit on the side next time. The skin on thick french fries were absolutely delicious as well. Better than almost any other souvlaki place I have been to and I have been to many. The salad was quite generous, although it had no tomatoes and feta and only a single kalamata olive. It was more of a North American salad... so that was a bit disappointing for a place that seemed so greek. The dressing was also not to my taste. So all in all, A+ for souvlaki and fries, and maybe a C for the not greek enough salad."

"As a restaurant manager or waiter if you are going to agree to sell a meal to a group even after you decided to close early and tell your clients about it which is unprofessional but still take their order and money and other people are still coming in you can't have a the pissed off attitude at your client and be in a bad mood! That does not fly! Especially when there's other clients in the place seeing the whole scene you should be grateful to be busy and prosperous. The food is good and some dishes at best OK but there are other places that have better where they are happy to serve and to see their clientele! I think the waiters the owners would rather be somewhere else all together doing something else than serving their clients. Their attitude is terrible and when you are a paying client as much as the food is delicious if you feel like you are not welcome you feel like leaving and never come back! It's the whole experience! Chateau Kabab in DDO and in Montreal serves similar dishes & prices always with a genuine smile!"

"The ambiance looks nice, but a few tables away was a table of 8 people who were speaking so loud in Arabic that we couldn't enjoy ourselves. Our waitress, a young lady, was very shy and soft spoken that we couldn't hear her. The fatoush salad was good, especially with the garnish cheese. There was too much dressing that drenched the salad. The grilled chicken was too dry, but tasty. I would have liked some vegetables , not just a grilled onion and a tomato. The mixed grilled meats for two should have 2 grilled tomatoes, and more vegetables, how can 2 people share just one tomato? See photo. The pita bread was given to us by request. I found the restaurant to be average, but not worth returning to as their competitor Syrian restaurant. The knafa dessert was good, but way too sugary than others I have tried."

"We usually dine at kabab dagenais which is not too far but we decided to try something new. As soon as we walk in we immediately see the difference in the quality of the food, the maintenance of the place and the staff. The salad was mushy and tasted like it was 3 days old, the quality of the meat is terrible and the garlic sauce was extremely salty. I ended up throwing half my plate away...Lesson learnt - Im sticking to kabab dagenais."
