"Whoever had the bright idea to put gyro meat on fries, great job! It gave me something I looked forward to ordering. The sauce may be common to others but was something new to me and I greatly enjoyed it. If you'd like to dip your toe into a new type of food, just know there is an option here available for you."

"Gyro items are good. Love the quantity of gyros they put in the sandwich. Have been there couple of times.. The price is ok compared to other places. Had a chicken shawarma and it was just ok compared to other mediteranean places. Instead of flour tortilla, they use pita bread which was interesting."

"I was craving gyros and spanakopita, so my husband and I decided to try out this little place. We were not disappointed! The gyro was good and very filling. Tzatziki is now my new favorite fry sauce. The spanakopita (spinach pie) was AMAZING. We split an order, which comes with three pies, but honestly they were so good I could have eaten a whole order by myself."

"I went to Shawkat's for the first time today for lunch and it was spectacular! I ordered the Jake's platter and I will be getting it again soon. The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff is friendly! They have a cute little patio outside that is lovely to sit on during nice days. Can't recommend them enough!"

"First time. Got there right at opening. Love the atmosphere with the big windows and smart look. My mom is a vegan and she was delighted that there were many vegan options. I am not a vegan and loved it too. Falafel wrap was very tasty with sweet potato fries and a mint lemonade drink that was delightfully tart. We had an appetizer of hummus that contained roasted tomatoes (not dried flakes but actual tomatoes) and it come with whole wheat pita bread. The entire meal was wonderful and we cleaned our plates to the last bite. Next time I visit my mother we will definitely be back"

"I went to my friend and was greeted to warming wisely. the dame behind the theke was very helpful and personal. for our first visit we decided to train their menu. within approx. 10 minutes we sit our freshly boiled feeds (skewer combo platter with hummus/Pita, tabouli and Hashawa rice, gyro plate with hummus/Pita and tabouli, a large carburel, three falafels) came together with samples of their multi crumb and olive oil pita brot. to avoid the maximum number of characters, I will specify and say that all dishes had an optimal temperature and a robust taste. both my friend and I were very happy with our meals and we did not regret...more"

"Had lunch there today, cabbage rolls seemed to be a little old, had good taste but served not hot and the same for the stuffed pepper. Hummus was very good but the pita bread served with it was stale and dry. Pasta salad was good. Like i said not good but not bad."
