"I was told about the recent opening of this restaurant by a family member that had already been there.Located in a strip mall close to two main arteries in Laval, small, nicely decorated, and with an open kitchen, it serves great grilled meats to eat in or take out. All the meat is halal and no alcohol is available on the premises. The owner is an experienced restaurant operator and knows his trade.We ordered the grilled spicy meat platter (1 Kg of meat: minced beef, beef tenderloin and chicken) to go and it was freshly prepared for us; included was rice, pita bread, and sauces.The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and savoury. we had enough left-over for almost another meal. Service was warm, kind and efficient; prices are most reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. If you are in the area or just passing by, do not miss out on trying this great new addition specializing in grilled meats."

"I stopped for a gyro to take back to my hotel. The chicken gyro was on special, so I ordered it. It really wasn't a gyro - it was grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato in a pita (no tzatziki sauce for me). It was quite good, as were the fries. The service was great - I appreciated that they packed ketchup, salt, napkins, and a fork in the container for me. The price was good, but keep in mind they only take cash. And while they have plenty of toothpicks available, they're so thin they break as soon as you try to use them."

"I loved the dishes of the torino grillades. are well prepared and well served, meat, chicken and/or sausage. the best even are the sausages, but also liked the preparation and flavor of the chicken, a little less of the meat of cattle. Accompaniments are optional, three options."

"I went to lunch. I was greeted with open arms and took place on a very comfortable bench. very beautiful restaurant, spacious and clean. varied menu. I chose the lunch table and I was not disappointed. Everything was succulent. I strongly recommend this restaurant."

"The riders at Souvlaki GR are incredible! The best pommes I've had for years. The Pita bread they use is also excellently fresh and soft. The disappointing part was the souvlaki filling. It was delicious, but there wasn't enough of it. The pig... the pieces were very small, the onion paper thin and almost non-existent, and very few tomato pieces. They add frits in the pita, maybe to try for lack of filling. The tzatziki was perhaps not as delicious as some other Greek restaurants, but the top is that you do not wake up the next morning with tzatziki breath as you do after eating at the leading souvlaki place in the city. All in all, a good value for the price you pay."

"On a family trip and decided to try this place after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We recently moved back to Canada from Greece so you can imagine how critical we are when it comes to authentic Greek food. This place was absolutely amazing! We had the gyro, moussaka, souvlaki, Greek salad and kopanisti. I can honestly say, even better than Greece! Excellent service, great prices, huge portions, cozy atmosphere and very clean. The place was packed when we went so we left and came back later to find a table. We're only here for the weekend but after last night's dinner, definitely going back tonight! A must if you're in the Montreal area. Can't say enough about this gem of a restaurant! Won't be surprised if by our next visit they have relocated to a bigger location."

"The chicken brochettes were not served with the traditional Greek potatoes and rice. It was one or the other. Both the rice and potatoes were not very Greek. Next time we try the one on St. Viateur, where the flavors are more authentic."

"We were a group of eight on a busy Friday night, we all were served food within 15 minutes, that is good. The food portions is very good and the plate is quite large, good value for your money. I would definitely be back. Pros,...gyro and salad very good, bread and service. Cons, the rice was to soggy and frozen potatoes are taste less..."
