"We go to untried restaurants with neighbors every few weeks and read good reviews about Darsalam. We loved it as soon as we walked into the cozy spot full of momentos and photographs ! of Iraq. My only quibble is the price, which was surprisingly high, but then I realized that we'd had a bottle of wine plus enough food for us to each take home practically another meal. We will go again for certain, but order less food. The kabobs were exceptional, as was the beet salad, but one was plenty to split 4 ways, and we ordered 2. Lovely staff, cozy spot and great food!"

"This is a lovely restaurant with friendly , helpful servers. The pompano fish looked and tasted fabulous! The yogurt dessert was one of the best I have ever had. I had an excellent gin gimlet, delicately flavored with cardamom. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for something different"

"Got some stuff from the Bend farmer's market on Wednesday and so happy! The tabouleh, dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) garlic/chive hummus are all amazing! And the pita chips, oh my goodness.... The best ever. Can't wait to seriously stock up next week!"

"Wow!!! What can I not say about this low key spot in Portland. First off the menu has great choices to choose from. My choice is the breakfast burrito. Perfectly made to perfection. Grilled just the right way and just the right amount of siracha sauce on the burrito. Very fresh menu items. Great atmosphere to just either eat there. Customer service is cool and great to stop again and again."

"It's so good. There is this place and ya Halla. The dips here are phenomenal. The falafel wraps seem to lack a little as far as stuff in the wrap. The dip set is absolutely amazing. Our waitress was pretty awesome and everything here is pretty delicious"
