"After walking past a number of restaurant’s that were beckoning us in, we were intrigued that this one did little at first to seat us. Eventually we were seated and the food choice was good and food was ok, not the best pizza we’ve had, but it was perfectly fine. The cost was decent value and the service was friendly, particularly allowing us to taste the poncha drink first before ordering it. The real negative here was when paying the bill it was in euros and I paid by card, only to find they’d charged in GBP without asking and with their awful exchange rate applied. This made a 5% difference and despite me making this clear the server just said ‘we always do that’ …well it’s the first time when in Funchal and it’s totally wrong to do that. Ask the customer if you intend to do that anyone sensible with a decent bank (chase) will refuse the conversion. Such a shame. Watch out!!!!"

"I have heard much good about this restaurant so it was so excited to try. definitiw recomend booking online a few days early as they have a lot of people gone because it was full. Although there are only 1 vegan pizza on the menu, they were happy to change any pizza to vegan or start with a vegan margarita pizza and mushrooms or any topping them choose what was very helpful and gives vegan more variety. the pizza was delicious, really delicious cheese and many mushrooms. would definitely come back."
