"We picked this restaurant based on shortest distance to our hotel. At first sight, it looked like one of those average Italian restaurant that are a dime a dozen. However, each member of our group of 4 was surprised with the delicious quality of our food. We had pasta's, pizza's, salads and wine, all tasted way better than expected. The staff is modest and very friendly. Good atmosphere. Next to the regular menu, the restaurant seems to offer a weekly special menu, it listed various choices with cantharelles at the time when we visited. The pasta with cantharelles and chicken breast tasted excellent! This place might not be pretentious, but it just serves excellent food!"

"The nuowa masseria, the since end 2021 masseria da rocco, with the same operator and staff, is a rediscovery after we were there several times ago. in the meantime, there were several owner changes. as we want to try new restaurants near us, we visited the masseria da rocco, which has become a series. it's on a main road. Nevertheless they sit there very nice, either in the tables in front of the entrance door or in the larger summer garden in the back part of the restaurant. from the back summer garden leads a direct way to the parking of the restaurant. a parking space is also available in the evening directly in front of the entrance door. from the back summer garden lead a few steps into the inner. from the front main entrance it is accessible barrier-free. the operator, rocco, is Italian. the food supply corresponds to that of the trattoria. there are suppening, appetizers, salads, pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes. also a season ticket. the usual offer of alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks. the prices are necessary. the menu is visible on the restaurant website. in the course of time we tried through the card. we took tomato cream soup, minenstrone, foccacia, appetizers like the recently offered sweet potatoes in a spectrophoto on rucolasalat, pasta classics such as spaghetti carbonara and lasagne, pizzas, including the interesting pizzas once different. pizza with birne tasted very good. the other meat dishes such as pork fillet medaillons in Pommerysenf sauce and the classic saltimbocca alla romana. some paintings we ordered dishes from the season map, also those were very good. what we ordered was always delicious, the portions generously dimensioned. the desserts are a dense. they are presented in a vitrine, where almost everyone passes, skillfully placed: we have tasted so much, the classic tirami su as well as profiteroles (wind bag and cream brulée. during a visit we have cassata as a conclusion, also excellent. the environment with wood and carved cover is inviting. the staff, both the cook itself and its services, is friendly and accommodating. the toilets in the ground floor are clean and tidy. a disabled toilet is available. all foods available, in the vicinity is offered delivery service. the kitchen closes at 21.30 clock. if nothing is left against 21.00 clock, the kitchen can also close a little more. a reservation is recommended as the restaurant is usually well visited. in Corona times we have taken this, even that was very good. we can recommend a visit to the masseria da rocco."
