"We have visited this restaurant for many years now. When we entered this time, we noticed the renewed interior, which gives it a more modern look. As usual the staff is very friendly and the service is quick. Sometimes we order from the specials, but...this time we ordered pizza. When the pizza arrived, the waitress (owner I guess) told us the pizza was burned on the sides and offered us to prepare another one, we declined as it was only parts on the sides and the rest looked nice. Which in fact it was, the pizza was very good, although we had to avoid eating the burned bits. Later another couple arrived and I noticed that their pizza also was quite burned on the side. A family that sat next to us also received burned pizza. I guess the owner noticed my reaction as I saw all pizzas coming out the oven with black sides... When we payed the bill, I made a remark on the fact that our pizzas were not the only ones, upon which she replied that sometimes they have issues with the heat in the oven. When I continued on this fact, it turned out it probably wasn't the oven, but the person handling it. Let's hope that by next time we visit, the oven or the handler are fixed, so we can go back and enjoy the tasteful pizzas"

"On a scorching July afternoon. We took a seat on the Caffe Shop little terrace. In the shade of Bvd Voltaire plane trees. More a catering business than a cozy trattoria. But simple, efficient and cheap. We had a pleasant chat in Italian with friendly staff while sipping our Aperol Spritz. Then we shared a light and crusty pizza salmone, daily special linguine puttanesca and smoothy gnocchi. And liters of San Pellegrino of course. It was such a hot day !"
