"The old adage “some days are diamonds...” rings true with this restaurant. Recently having the misfortune to dine here for dinner twice in two weeks and lunch twice in 4 weeks, no serving was of the same standard. Chicken parmigiana and chicken schnitzel tasted bland and appeared to be deli bought “fake” chicken...yuk. An eye fillet one night was little bigger than a 50cent piece...absolutely ridiculous, yet another night the filet Mignon was delicious. Dinner of salt and pepper calamari was edible yet lunch time same was undercooked. Utterly rude lass behind the register topped off the whole miserable experience. Menu needs a complete overhaul and hire someone who can cook."

"Had the roast special of the day. Nice roast beef, big serving. Helped ourselves to lots of lovely vegetables from the salad and veg. bar which was included in price of meal. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great to meet the manager who was most helpful. Good clean well run club with country atmosphere, would go there again."

"Fantastic night thanks to Mark and his crew. Exceeded all of our expectations. We were seated in the dining room which was a perfect size for our function. Food was fantastic. Service was spot on. Will definitely be back."

"Stopped for lunch on way back from Airlie Beach. What a lovely place, great home made food, delicious and reasonably priced. lots of lovely foodie things to buy to take away for gifts. It was November and the ceiling was covered in Christmas decorations, really lovely, I reckon it must be Santas stop off as it was the most decoration we saw in our entire visit. Definitely worth a stop, great coffee very friendly staff and very tasty and different food."
