"Such a let down. The ambience was fabulous, the setting outside was beautiful in the sun, a busker playing acoustic guitar, we honestly thought it couldn't get better as the place was quite busy.<br>
We ordered the bacon and eggs benedict for $14.90, cafe latte, hot chocolate and pancakes with caramelised banana and maple syrup $17.90 (charged an extra $5 for a scoop of ice cream and cream). The E&B benny appeared on a very small slice of sourdough with a small piece of bacon and 2 very small poached eggs. The hollandaise was a very peculiar runny frothy milky liquid which was entirely reminiscent of not Hollandaise.. The pancakes...well devo. When paying $18 for pancakes you expect homemade, fluffy cakes of goodness right? Not Tip Top, straight out of a packet from Woolworth's, cheap and nasty. "An unexceptional breakfast with coffee that was one of the worst in town. So, so disappointed. Have given this potentially fantastic venue two chances now having tried dinner last week... had to go and ask for service from one of the 5 staff having a confab behind the bar. We were one out of two tables dining (same this morning). Won't be back."

"We needed a bit of a lift after my husband had been through the worst of an operation on a fractured ankle so I decided to celebrate at the place that never disappoints- Sage. It was a wonderful and relaxing lunch with the most flavoursome and exciting food and attentive service. We both came away feeling not only satisfied but nourished. "The Tuesday $15 pasta and drink is a great option, and we had the housemade ricotta gnocchi which was simply divine. We also enjoyed a seafood spaghetti. Service was quick, food was delicious, this is an easy way to catch up with friends during a lunch break."

"This was in the top 10 of Canberra’s cool bars so we decided to give it a try. Not the best choice for an early, quiet Friday night drink. It was ruined by the ramped up bass level of the music from the pub downstairs, which was also competing with a poor choice of music (sounded like the bar staff’s favourite radio, rather than music selected for the bar’s ambience) from the bar itself. Bar service slow even with hardly anyone in the place and the décor was confusing and inconsistent."

"I liked the premise of authentic wood fired pizzas and best pizzas in town. So off I went to sample Pizza Artigiana. This is a nice little shop with a good layout and friendly staff, good service. I just ordered two pizzas, the Margherita and another one topped with ricotta and salami. The toppings were yummy. Don 't go in expecting the oversaturated decadence of takeaway pizza. It 's simple and classic. The salami wasn 't like wow or anything. The basil and tomato sauce was also like, just ok. The let down was the crust. I was expecting some amazing woodfired goodness but it just tastes like a normal toasted pizza. The crust was toooooo salty, I threw it away. Such a waste since they are pretty small pizzas for $20 each. I had a cup of tea and 2x glasses of orange juice and my body is still rejecting the salt levels. I haven 't been to Italy so I have no way of knowing whether all authentic pizza dough is this salty. Would I go again? No, because of the salty crust. Fix that, and it 's a reasonable place to eat. Could improve to 4 or even 5 stars with less salt."

"This is a place that you could easily visit for a casual meal as I did but could also be great for groups or even a nice romantic dinner (depending on the other patrons). pasta was just what I wanted and the service was prompt and cheerful. All in all it ticked all the boxes."
