"Fuimos a cenar a Rolandi's con una pareja de amigos que son locales y recomendaron mucho la comida, y no nos decepcionaron. El menu es obviamente Italiano y muy variado; la pasta excelente, la lasaña que yo pedí estuvo fantástica, nuestros amigos pidieron pizza porque es su favorita y también pidieron pasta sin gluten (que recomendaron pedir tan pronto como nos tomaran la orden de bebidas porque tarda un poco más). En general platillos muy sabrosos, y una cuenta razonable aún con una botella de vino. Está suficientemente cerca de la zona hotelera como para ser una buena opción, tienen menú en Inglés aunque no sé qué tan bien lo hablen los meseros porque todos en nuestro grupo hablábamos Español. We were taken there for dinner by a couple of friends who are locals and spoke highly of the food, and we were not disappointed. The menu is obviously Italian, and really varied; the pasta was excellent, the lasagna I had was fantastic, our friends went there specifically for the pizza as it is a favorite of theirs and they also ordered gluten-free pasta (which they advised you should request as soon as the waiter starts taking drink orders because it takes a little longer). All in all very savory meals, and a reasonable bill even with a bottle of wine. It is close enough to the main hotels in the tourist zone to be a good option, they do have English menus although I'm not sure how good the waiters may be since everyone in our party spoke Spanish."

"It is a wonderfully strange little restauran, led by a Jewish couple. He's in the kitchen, she's in charge of the service, but you still see him on several occasions outside the kitchen. Food is phenomenal, we loved pizza and pasta. Bring some time as some dishes take time to prepare or your order can be mixed... And if you stay long enough, you could surprise yourself."

"The bf and I ate here tonight. we started with an aperol splash and a campari splash, yummy! divided a appetizer of chicken breast filled with spinat in speck with chipotle mayo wound on a bed of salat. yes. but the highlight cannot be exaggerated: pizza! be traditional and mine without cheese. both are equally satisfying. I don't know, but they must have a wood-fired pizza oven. if they have not yet managed to create this authentic Italian thin pizza ofen cruste texture. we both rode about how delicious the crust was, next to the sauce and the topping. the Arugula/rocket I added was so fresh! and they have a chili infused olive oil, which is one to drop over every bite! they have a simple, but what sounds like delicious breakfast, so we will definitely try again that, as well as I am sure for many more pizzas! they also have many other traditional Italian dishes if they are not interested in pizza."

"I actually wanted to reserve at Cenacolo in Cancun which is 5 minutes walking distance away from our hotel. Cenacolo was booked, so I decided to try something else. I am so happy we tried Casa Rolandi. It was lovely. The restaurant is located on...the Cancun Lagoon overlooking the water with a beautiful view. We sat on the terrace overlooking the water. The restaurant was empty because we were visiting Cancun during the Corona Virus week. The food is excellent; fine Italian cuisine. We started with minestrone soup, Beef Carpaccio, Pizza with prosciutto with Italian Cheese, Fettuccine Alfredo, and a grilled fish and vegetables. The ravioli with truffle sauce was decadent. Everything was delicious especially the Italian Bruschetta bread served before the meal. I highly recommend a visit and the prices were reasonable. I’m definitely looking forward to come back. The service was also very nice."

"Fair prices, food is very good, service is attentive and friendly. Greatly appreciate the opportunity for a entree salad with fresh ingredients and gluten free. GREAT view of sunset. All of this in the midst of La Isla which can have some tourist gotchas. We recommend this restaurant for friendly, good, casual dining. Waiter Julian is a real plus."
