"This place can be busy so make sure you book. They close quite late so be rest assured this restaurant will satisfy your Italian food cravings with ease. The menu is massive! I highly recommend the chicken pomodori yumm!!!"

"I was working in the Castle Hill area for a number of days and went to the Castle Hill Tav for lunch and dinner. The Tav has a good and generous lunch menu. It includes pub staples such as fish and chips, schnitzel, burgers...and even steak and chips. The meals are well sized and all come with chips. On the two occasions I have had lunch here, I found the meals to be well prepared and tasty. On the occasion I went for dinner here it was the Rugby League State of Origin Night. The Tav was well attended with a good quality crowd. Dinner options were again standard pub fare, but again well prepared and generous in proportions. The tap beer is quite good. It has good quality offerings from the big breweries such as James Squire Hop Thief, Toohey's Old and Coopers Pale Ale. Beer prices are reasonable by Australian standards for a pint of Hop Thief; for a pint of Old). I plan on being back at the Castle Hill Tav the next time I am in the area for work."

"We were in Sydney staying with friends and wanted a late night pizza fix. We had the Mexican and meat lovers with a Cabinara and garlic breads. All were on a crispy base with nice toppings and portions. They were bust and warned delivery could be 1 1/2 hrs yet they showed up in 40 minutes which was good. Everyone loved the pizza and we will be back next time in Sydney for sure."

"Our family were regulars, sadly this place is now a shambles..... go anywhere else if you want a pasta or pizza- not here!After waiting for 1/2 hour to place an order, I went and got the menu myself, they then took our order, after an hour of waiting, we had one pizza and our drinks, the two pastas didn't arrive, and the wife's steak was over cooked and disgusting.When our pasta arrived it was the wrong pasta's. that was the final straw I walked up to the kitchen handed back both pasta, threw $50 at them and walked out of that place forever. During our wait, 5 other families walked in, sat down and left without placing an order. The couple next to us sent back their pizza as their topping was cold. Do not go here...... simply horrible."

"So our meal was 2 pasta dishes - Tortellini boscaiola and beef lasgane - and a Spain pizza to go.Eating in there's no charge for booze - and there's a bottle shop just next door. So big tick on that.The garlic pizza we had to start was great - a little bit of cheese, oil and garlic. The base was nice and light.The Tortellini was a good size and cooked nicely; just enough texture in the pasta being nice and firm. The sauce I thought lacked something. The bacon was tasty, the mushrooms sufficient but there wasn't enough cream; a eighth of a cup or so would do it for me, so was just missing. Perhaps some pepper or go silly with the garlic?The lasagne was a good meal too, plenty of meat around the dish more than what was between the sheets but that's a variation I didn't mind.The pizza was really good. A nice light thin base that puffed up well at the edges. It held its shape when eating and nothing fell off. Being a gourmet pizza it wasn't loaded with toppings but what was there was good.All in all we were happy with our lot and would be quite happy to go back again. And again.Also, Saturday night when we visited Nonna was behind the counter so you are getting the Real Deal."
