"On January 28th my family and I ordered a pizza for pickup the app said the pizza would be ready in 30min so I pack my kids in the car to pick up the pizza. Once I arrived the pizza dude told me the pizza is not ready even though the app said it was and proceeded to say its not their fault and that the app programmers were a piece of s . And we had to wait an additional 30to 40 min."

"We’re waiting on carry out. 2 employees are pretending to play baseball right outside the store… with rocks, another mousey looking employee came out to deliver a pizza while actively picking (his?her nose. Convenient spot to get the only type of pizza my autistic kids will eat, but I’ll look for the next closest one after this ?"

"My entire order was handed to the car in front of me and then passed back to the drive thru worker. The drive thru worker said they would remake my entire order and then proceeded to hand me the same old bag of food. I go inside to get a full refund and there are already 4 people waiting to speak to a manager. Like other people have said, the entire staff look stoned and didn’t seem to understand anything that was going on. The girl working the window looked to be about 14 years old. No apologies from the manager when I told her what happened. She just stared at me with a huge smile on her face. What is happening to the restaurants in this area??"

"I am surprised by the bad reviews of this place. Maybe. I was lucky, but every time I'm here, it was amazing and the staff is always very nice. Waiting is a little long, but the pizza is always fresh out of the oven, which explains waiting. The only drawback is that the delivery pizzas are never hot, but still good for convenience :"

"It is a high energy site, but many mistakes I cannot tell them how often we have ordered pizza from these youngs and it has come out wrong. they will make in the flow in the energy of high intensity pizza and forget the small things when it is important for the customer. I can only imagine what their food costs are because they have to make the same pizzas again and again. good customer service, but it's just inspiring how many problems they actually have."

"Small, simple, very welcoming, and the best pie anywhere around – even at other places with larger and newer facilities. It is easy to get to, located right on the main thoroughfare in the Fountain, MN community. Once, we had biked uphill from Lanesboro, MN, on a defunct tandeum bike and were so exhausted that we wondered if we had the strength to return to our hotel. This is when we first discovered Village Square pie – it was like a godsend! So while we may have been happy with “average” food, we were amazed at how good it was, especially the blueberry pie with ice cream. On each visit, the staff demonstrates how personally invested they are in providing the best dining experience that they can offer to guests. During COVID alerts, when outside adventures were our go-to, we found they were dedicated to following the CDC’s guidance. We’ve had their house salad, sub sandwiches, baked chicken, and always, ALWAYS, pie!!! Local residents flow in and seem to be strong supporters. Families dine here with their children and seem to have a great time talking table to table. Entire tables were ordering soup and pizzas – so they must be tasty and satisfying. It’s worth a drive if you are anywhere in the area. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and we enjoyed the journey there as well. The restaurant is clean with homey furnishings, and the staff waiting tables have been consistently friendly and polite. It is family owned and operated; we were privileged to hear their story first-hand.
