"What a joke, $17 for a tiny ham and cheese pizza. Doesn't taste much better than a $2.50 one from the supermarket! Save your money and eat at one of the many reasonably priced eateries in hanmer."

"Best pizzas , service and cafe I've been to in a while. And right in the heart of the hot pools. Deffenitly recommend a feed from there even if hot pools are not your thing."

"The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and able to outline exactly what was/wasn't celiac safe. No dedicated GF fryer so I couldn't have any chips, but they did a good GF pizza. I'm celiac and didn't have any issues here"

"We went to the cafe/restaurant 3 times during our 3 days trip in hanmer springs. They're a cafe in the morning/afternoon; a pizza restaurant in the evening. We have 2 lunches and 1 dinner there. For lunch, we ordered from their usual menu as well as Keto menu, both are tasty. Highly recommend their halloumi fries and cauliflower tempura; their portion are very generous, too. For dinner, we ordered pizza with keto base (They use Home St pizza base). They are good, but nothing special."

"Our first visit to MetroMart Hanmer Springs (The Log Cabin) turned out to be a delightful one. We were looking for icecream on a hot summer Saturday. When we went inside the MetroMart, we realized that they served not only packaged icecreams but also scoops that too Kapiti Icecream as well as Tip Top Icecream. The service was friendly. There was place to sit in the shop tables and chairs where we could relish our icecreams. A staff member said theirs was the only place in Hanmer serving Kapiti Icecream scoops!"

"Best tasting pizza in New Zealand and even better service to go along with it. My husband and I walked up and ordered a pizza at 3pm, not realising that the shop didn't start cooking until 4pm. Instead of making us wait until 4, the amazing owner started cooking it once the ovens had warmed up and it was ready by 3:30pm. Highly recommend"
