"Walt from Walt's Adventures here in Martinez, California. I find myself at the Florence Italian Restaurant. To be honest, the outside of the restaurant is not what I consider as inviting as with many areas in Martinez. This restaurant though is one of the gems that still glow brightly in the city. The food all had a great presentation. Some of the dishes though get lost in their sauces but still tasted great. The staff were welcoming but we did see the bottom out of water glasses. I would recommend this eatery for any casual or business dinner."

"Love this place/location!! But super bummed pizza wasn?t heart shaped for our valentines dinner (even after confirming it was going to be) it was very cold ? as if it was laying out for a while. Pretty disappointing but other than that we love the friendly employees and great pizza."

"I didn't know I was in slices. When I got news, it was on the way, as I was excited. Was surprised that when it said it was seduced no pizza It was told them to call. They called her the woman who did not want to be here my side and was very argumentative about me and then told me that she didn't want to help and that she had people before her. Worst customer service is again ording by them and still no pizza"

"This place is a nice little spot in downtown Martinez. Service is really good and the food is tasty. I know food prices have gone up, but I still some items were a little high priced. Bra Sue it is a small space, people are literally sitting on top one another which makes it hard to move around when it's time to leave. I hate bothering people to move, especially when they are just starting to enjoy their meal. There is outside seating, but it was just a little too cold when we were there. The Unicorn Cauliflower is a tasty appetizer of different colored cauliflower and was $13. I had the Winter Ravioli for $20. It was tasty and filling. My niece had the Local Black Cod for $28. It was a bit on the small size, but was tasty as well. I would eat here again."

"Where to begin… I drove all the way from Pennsylvania to stay with family and check out the Ritas in the area. Employees were disrespectful, seemed VERY unhappy to be working for such a family fun place. The system was down for credit cards. Atm wasn’t working."

"The food is delicious! Service is great. Our waiter took care of the needs of three members of our party who have problems with gluten. The restaurant is classic Italian with a very cozy ambience. You can actually visit and have a conversation! Many restaurants are so loud! Not La Strada. We had a group of seven for a birthday dinner for one of our book club members. Everyone really enjoyed what he ordered. We had a cozy meal and stayed over Dessert's coffee. My chicken picata was wonderful. So relaxing!"

"I love eating! we had the crabcakes that were amazing! the avocado garnelensalat was incredibly filled and they did not jump on the garnels. the clam chowder was also delicious - so I heard. (I am not a fan of clam chowder, but some people have come back here in any case."
